This is an ok companion piece to The Rookie (2018). I'm not a huge fan of Niecy Nash's acting, so I do try to look past that. And what I see is a fairly enjoyable show.

7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too
9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!
I may only watch this so that I can use it as a drinking game. Every time she says "Guidance Counsellor" you have to drink.
If the introduction to this show on the Rookie was any indication this is going to be Terrible.
She was unlikeable and annoying in The Rookie, a great show, so why they thought anyone wanted this made is beyond me. 0/10.
i havent got anything good to say about this show. i stopped watching it after episode 4, this show was a shitfest.
please give this a skip, pretend it doesnt exist. simone's character is a solid fucking turn off.
I don't love the lead actor, think she's annoying, but the rest of the cast is great and I guess they know that since they keep bringing The Rookie actors to interact.
I'll keep watching, but I have some doubts this will be pick up for a second season.
The Rookie with the same plot just the FBI and a diverse lead. So it’s supposed to feel fresh because of that of course. Just annoying that a lot of good original shows were canceled and replaced by spin-offs this Fall.
About time they cancelled a show that REALLY Needed to be cancelled!!!

Dont listen to the haters, this show is actually pretty good with the nice occasional crossover from the parent show
This show adds zero to the original series, the ONLY reason to watch this show is because there are a few cross-over episodes with the original series. The show would have been watchable if there wasn't a LGBQWERTY or BLM statement shoved down your throat allmost every episode. But that's what makes the world turn round these days so it probably will be on 'till this fase fades back to the gutter it came from.
Feels very chessey to watch i did enjoy it but, felt a little silly
It’s watchable, and every episode has its moments where it’s actually at “The Rookie’s” level, but they’re few and far between. And both of the “probies” (Rookie Feds) are the problem with the show.
Brandon’s character is the problem, not the actor, blame the writers. And as for Simone Clarke, she is just not believable as an FBI rookie. I really enjoy what the actress brings to the show and the writers actually did ok for her, but in what world would she be able to pass the FBI Academy (and not just the physical parts, but also especially those), and there is no way she would not have been fired multiple times by now for the insubordination.
But honestly everything and everyone else is spot on for a “The Rookie” spinoff. Just too bad the 2 Probies are literally the main characters and what the show is about. No wonder it was cancelled. I just watched the entire season to make sure I didn’t miss anything on “The Rookie”, and it wasn’t bad enough for me to not.
Never watched this, but saw all the cross-overs with The Rookie. Didn't care for the main character. I'm glad it got cancelled so more effort can be put into the original (and because there won't be more cross-overs).
I'll rate this show the same rating I ratenevery episode the cross over lead actress has been in... 1 to 3.

all guys in this comment the show is good its because u know men . they not all can be normal .its okay even as woman we like those but if actors are bad..show is not good. we need to say it if u only watch for her u know then watch baywatch.gn
the main woman character her voice is so annoying even my cats wanna jump out the window floor 24.. so by with this one.
I loved The Rookie so was excited to see a spin off, well I was massively disappointed. Only managed to finish watching 2 episodes before the bordem took over. I was excited as the The Rookie seemed similar to 9-1-1 where the characters are likable and enjoying to watch but this was not the case for feds. The cases were not even interesting enough to make up for the lack of interesting characters.
I like this show and the comradery of the team yet I could really do without Niecy's cleavage in every single episode - and wearing leather pants to work... unrealistic. Actress Britt Robertson looks like a teenager and not old enough to be in the FBI. Also, why are the agents getting their a$$ beat - don't they have training in hand-to-hand combat? They should give as good as they get.

If this makes season 2 then someone is paying someone else a lot of money. The lead actress Isa joke. Much worse than horrible.
