Wow. This is the episode where everybody sucks. I'd barely rate it a 5-6 if it wasn't for one epic scene.
Wil keeps being an ass (though it's nothing new for him). He's just at the door and doesn't want to go in ? Then just wants to talk about his relationship ? Does nobody care about saving the world in this show ?
Also the Crimson killed everybody and then left without getting inside ? What was the point then ? By the way the chosen are supposed to protect the tree ? Apparently Eretria is way better than them, and they need to be protected, poor job there.
Nice to see Amberle at last. She seems to work in weird ways though, like she can see Mareth, bit not that the sword was destroyed ? Again, everybody has weird priorities, it's really a wonder they keep managing to not let the world be destroyed.
Wtf with Bandon and Catania ? He has been such a cool badass character this whole season, why do that ? Why turn him into a creep ? Like when did he go and get her corpse ? And how did he even know ? Has he been stalking her ? Coming back and forth between his mission and keeping an eye on her ? And he'd expect what ? That she would thank her for resurecting her, and the Warlock Lord ? That she would forget that she loved Ander and be with him ? Though maybe the need to kill her to get rid of his humanity was worth it.
After all she's been through, Mareth is being a little bitch because after a day she finds that training to be a druid is a little hard ? Where does that comes from ?
Jax's little sob story about regretting basically his whole life ? What ?
Allanon just giving away the codex. Are you really that naive ? asks Riga. Well fuck yeah, that's what I'd like to know. That is so incredibly stupid and so out of character. Allanon should have had a plan, or at least gain enough time to have one, like just say that the codes is somewhere else, I don't know. You're telling me he couldn't do better than that ?
Eretria was supposed to be controlleed by the Warlock Lord. However a wraith just gets inside her ? So it's not her anymore, she can't really fight it, there's no moral ambiguity, everything bad that she'll do won't be her fault as it's the wraith. Really poor turn of this story line..
Riga is being really stupid. His I'm impervious to magic stunt didn't even work against Mareth just a few days ago. How would he be so stupid to repeat the same mistake against the Warlock Lord ? He's smart enough to know he needs an army. However his death is still epic, even if it was obvious since almost the beginning that he would die pitifully outpowered by the Warlock Lord, that was really well done and pretty satisfying. And the way the Warlock Lord kills all the Crimson soldiers, pretty great. The one scene that saves the episode.
So, the Warlock Lord looks like Allanon because Bandon used Allanon’s blood during the resurrection? Creepy.
Whats up with everyone crushing on Will?!
Druid girl has no chance there, he will so die at the end and finally be with his true love Amberle..
These last few episodes have better pacing than before. However I am very disappointed at the battle of General Riga and the warlock lord. They could have made it a bit more epic even if still resulted in the defeat of Riga. For one of the most powerful villain in the show to go like that is just lazy directing for me. I know they want show the Warlock Lord to be much above Riga but still Riga is also a skilled fighter.

I guess that was the last time we saw Amberle. Very sad, but her parting was well executed. I love the father-daughter bonding Allanon and Mareth have going on.
