Good episode, can't say anything more or less about it.

[7.2/10 on a post-classic Simpsons scale] This is an enjoyable lark of an episode. You have to mentally categorize it as a Treehouse of Horror installment to fully appreciate it, but taken in those terms, it's an enjoyable romp that does some light but still funny spoofing of The Da Vinci Code and similar tales.

The problems that plagued the show in this era aren't gone. There's still an overextended wind-up, some bottom of the barrel shtick from Homer, and some profoundly dumb gags. But there's also some clever bits and good laugh lines, alongside this fluffy but fun adventure. There's even a touch of sweetness with Marge and Maggie. Not a high water mark for the post-classic era of the show, but a roundly pleasant outing that has some fun with its exaggerated parody.
