The Sinner

Season 3

Thank god that's finally over! Talk about dragging a show out to fill up the episodes - this one has it in spades. 8 episodes could easily have been condensed to 6 without missing anything other than dull empty scenes. The Brits would have made it in 5 or 6 rivetting episodes easy!

The story is good, but very slooooow. The Jamie Burns character is completely unlikeable and uninteresting, but yet the show keeps you interested. The final show - episode 8 really dragged on and on but why the hell would the cop care if he was comfortable or died peacefully?! I'd have made it nice and painful until his last breath. Why would anyone have sympathy for a psychotic killer? Especially one that could have harmed your grandson. Probably cause the show was only 1/2 long and it had to be padded out to 45-60 mins.

I really liked how this season kinda completes the character arc of Harry.

First season was amazing, second was good, and third is sooooo boring. Nothing happens, the characters are unlikeable, and of course, the inevitable wokeness rears its ugly head. At time it feels like its an adaptation of the infamous "toxic masculinity" Gillette commercial.

I found this season the best yet. Very profound, detailed and convincing. It makes you feel and think about all the other nuances between the black and white of life and human beings.
Also, I've never seen Bomer acting so good. All the characters we're really well interpreted, but he was above all.
Don't mind the shallow critical comments. Watch it and judge for yourself.

Dark at the beginning but ended up being a drama on relationships. Expected more as the story progressed. The ending left me without any impact. As for story/plot/execution, it's surely S1 > S2 > S3! 6/10

This season had potential but I found myself getting less interested with each episode. They dragged it out a little too long for my taste.

The execution didn’t seem to match how dark the plot was. The interplay between the characters was too tame and the fact Jamie evaded being arrested/captured with little to no effort also took a lot of potential excitement out of it.

One word review for each episode: Boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring.

Great season. The last episode and especially the last scene are worth the whole trip.
It's becoming more and more a psychological drama about the great character of Harry, and that's what sets this apart from other crime shows. And the latter are what I suggest to people complaining about this season. Go watch CSI; deep stuff it's not for you apparently.

A boring season. The series is on the downward slope
