I like the battle of wills between Carmella and Tony. Carmella has her ways of getting back at Tony for what he does, and they set themselves against each other nicely. The stuff with Tony and La Paz were less interesting, though I did like that Tony tried to recreate the same thing with Carmella and seemed discouraged by her response. It was an interesting sign that the fun had gone out of their marriage.

The stuff with Ralphie and the horse didn't work as well for me. I get that Tony can't help himself and yet doesn't want to go where Ralphie has tread ("I already took his horse" was an interesting moment), but I wasn't sure what it amounted to.
