The Terror: Season 1

1x10 We Are Gone

I guess I expected more from the ending. Enjoyed the trip though.

I really liked the ending scenes with Crozier living with the inuit people. But everything that happened before was just crazy af.

WE ARE GONE
-10-

Just went fucking crazy! So fucking crazy!
Everything what made the Series so good so far, was in this one.

Poor Goodsir. RIP
To see him on the table like this was pure horror for me.
What men are able to do... crazy.

The haluzinations were so well placed. And again: crazy.

How they tried to catch the Tuunbaq was crazy.
Just went nuts.

The ending...
To see the aftermath was great and haunting.

For the other part (which was the same in the book). It undermines a bit what really happend...
Everyone died or one survived are two complete different stories, at least for me.
The fact that Lady Silence survived was great. The fact that Crozier survived, I don't know...
I liked it and I also didn't. It's plausible though, so there's that^^

Overall this episode was one of the best of "The Terror"!
The series as a hole was so haunting and pure Terror.
Awesome series.

I wonder if Crozier stayed with the Intuit people because of loyalty and guilt of losing his crew or if he was eluding the possibility of some kind of criminal charges once he returned home? Mr. Hickey ended up being so gloves-off nuts that his impact and death in the final episode was tempered. The tuunbaq was an original monster with a very strange appearance. Its semi-human facial features were actually off-putting. I wonder if the tuunbaq was weakened by Mr. Blanky's vest of forks? Dr. Goodsir's suicide/self-sacrifice was brutal in the extreme.

Mr. Hickey sucked so hard he wasn't even good for eating.

Poor Silna. Tradition can be brutal. At least we know for a fact she can fare on her own.

Francis had a much happier ending than I ever imagined, even if bittersweet.

This is my review for the entire Season. It was okay. I wouldn’t say it’s the best series or I’m glad I watched. It was a time killer for me. Felt like it dragged on at times. Felt like I was just watching men walk for 6/10 episodes. It wasn’t the worst but hoping Season 2 is better

The best time for me was when Hickeys gets butchered by the beast, that's bad for you. The saying goes, and it's true, "Every pig gets his St. Martin." You wanted to be a messiah and you were the first course.

Mucho ruido y pocas nueces. Hickey, Goodsir y Crozier lo único que se salva. No es mala serie, pero me esperaba mucho más.
