This is so far the best episode! I love it! Well done. Superb!!
I especially love how tied in the different time periods through the video while it is also happening at the same time, and the two Henry's switched places.
There's the "fight" time period. Then there's the far future. Then there is the present. While they also revealed how future Henry sang with exact same song with young Clare.
For a time travel story, and a show especially in this case, such connecting scenes are easily not thought of. For the director and writer to have thought something like this, it speaks volume to how much they spent time to perfect this episode.
Simply perfect.
Well that was a total waste of time. Is that it?
Clare for me was very unlikeable and brought the hole damn season crashing down to the point this show has now been Cancelled.
So beautiful in the book and movie, horrible as a person in this show.
But it's all over now Cancelled before it ever had a chance to really shine and I think we all know who is to blame for that.
8.5/10
My third favourite episode of the series, less arguing and more story and
Time Travel that's what this show needed and that's exactly what this very interesting episode gave us. Everyone involved in this episode just seemed in a happier better mood all round which in turn allowed me to sit back and enjoy it myself instead of stressing out with everyone else like I have past 3 or so episodes.
I loved the Henry switch that was cool, especially the way they worked it out.
That drug guy seemed funny and quite the character, I would have liked more of him.
This show is at it's best when dealing with multiple time periods simultaneously.
It really came into it's own
at the second half of this episode and quite frankly it was rather beautiful, episode two was still the more beautiful but this definitely got me in the feels, especially working off of all time periods.
I wasn't sure,
But I am now.
"Bring On Season Two"
LET'S GO
Henry and Clare are going to be married and worried Henry tends to travel to the future where he sees Clare crying and they possibly splitting off. Due to the stress about the future and willingness to puzzle out the scenes he glimpsed, Henry travels much more frequently than it is usual and ends up stuck in the future, while his older self travels to the past and is the one who actually marries Clare, and the younger version talks with the older Clare, who explains to him the meaning of marriage. This was a bit moving. We also get acquainted with Henry's dad, from whom Henry seems to be estranged and meets him rarely, as dad started drinking after losing his wife. Another scene I liked in this episode was the older Henry asking his dad if it is worth getting married even if you would eventually lose your spouse someday. During his travel to the future, the younger Henry also discovers that he and Clare would never have any children since the babies inherit the time travel gene and time travel before they are even born. This is really sad as Clare has always wanted children and Henry is worried that by marrying her he would actually make her unhappy. Overall the episode was OK, though the repetitive time travel scenes get old a bit.
Ugh, his father is too sweet. Wish we could've gotten more with him. The "was it worth it" scene never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
They clearly forgot to release one more episode!
i'm mad!
Finally, a lottery ticket
It's kinda merciful from the writers to keep Henry in place and time while getting married. Still, 8 bet everyone held their breath assuming he would disappear.
How many hours does Henry stay in one place and time? And how many times does he travel in time each day? I wonder if I'M GOING TO DISAPPEAR ANY TIME SOON

They did such a good job casting teenage Henry. He looks so much like Theo James, even got the mannerisms down.
