Such an interesting show! The premise was so unique and the execution well done! Even tho the series wasn’t full on action or mystery it was so captivating! I think my only dislike is that we didn’t get to know the other half of the jury. First of all I’m so thankful Delphine and her kids are safe!!!! even tho she wasn’t the lead on the show I was the most invested on her story and I’m glad she found a friend in Noel, which was like odd cause at first he is depicted as a man with no morals/regard for others (like what he did to Holly) but this is what I liked about the show, that we get to see like the shades of humanity/morality, and that just cause you’ve done something bad or are dealing with something commonly seen as bad (like his sex addiction) that doesn’t make you a bad person who deserves to be ruthlessly judged. I also really enjoyed seeing how the justice system works in other country, I’ve seen so many shows about the justice system in the USA and it was interesting seeing the difference, my favorite part was that everyone involved (jury, defense, witnesses, judges, even Frie) got to have like a dialogue, and that the jury had some sort of guidance and the judges could get involved (like with the 7-5 rule) but what I didn’t like was that there was barely any hard physical evidence and that the conviction was based on what the jurors thought about Frie, I can’t get over one of the jurors saying that Frie was sick for expecting exclusivity on her relationship with Stefaan... like yeah they were married, of course she was expecting to be an EXCLUSIVE COUPLE. Based on how little actual evidence there was I would’ve voted NON GUILTY in both cases, but I guess I would’ve been a bad juror after seeing what was on Roos book. I feel like Frie being guilty for killing Roos makes more sense than her killing Bretchje so I don’t feel like she killed both of them but I guess that was what happened, even tho I don’t love the idea that she did all that cause she was the “mad woman” who killed out of jealousy and not having exclusivity over someone, I still believe Stefaan killed B and that Margot’s mom killed R; is like there was so much untapped potential regarding the murders cause like Margot’s mom already set her up once and she had that connection w the farmer, so it would’ve make sense for them to hurt R, BUT I GUESS AT THE END THE SHOW ISN’T ABOUT THE CASE BUT THE JURORS! I really liked witnessing everyone’s background and what lead them to vote that way, like :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Arnold:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: was tired of everyone and felt like the system betrayed him and that’s why he was the main opposition, :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Delphine:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: sadly had been a victim too so she knew first hand about someone who’s supposed to love you the most hurting you, :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Jouri:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: felt really guilty so he was projecting his guilt on Frie, :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Holly:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: was super rational cause she could see both perspectives, even tho everyone was scared of her being over emotional, and who surprised me was :asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:Carl:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol: cause I thought he was going to be super harsh on Frie but he was fair! Wish we knew more about the other half of the jury. So overall a quality different show! Worth watching.
