Good start to the second season. People that are responsible for the music should get raise because they are doing a great job choosing songs.

This one had some good moments and a nice setup overall, but the pacing was much too slow overall. It just took way too long to accomplish what was accomplished here.

A good setup. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out. And I think Number 5 is the right choice for main character that brings the group together.

Diego wanting to stop JFK's assassination has me thinking he either will cause it or he ends up being the shooter.

Enjoyed the Klaus scenes.

I can’t remember a thing from season 1 but solid first episode, doubt it’ll stay this good though..

A little melancholy seeing Allison moving on...and, Vanya, the same!

But, @dewdropvelvet, agree 100%

Ashamed I'm getting a late start on this...big part of being a member here is to take part in the Fandom aspect of the comments sections, and -- it does me no good to leave comments way after everyone else's already moved on, but...haha (That was what I loved about TVMuse, was the fandom...about whatever was popular atm -- but I was also late there).

Maybe I'm just sad my daughter didn't live long enough to see this, and I'll never know if she watched season 1. She did love My Chemical Romance so much when they were popular, and Gerard Way...and, that was before she developed the same issues he's survived (and I'm so glad he has, and produced these stories, so that I can in a way feel close to her again!)

An interesting way to spin a similar theme to season 1 on very different terms.

Will be good to see how their paths all converge from here

Pretty decent way to start off episode 2. It's nice to see a fresh start, even though its re-dressing the whole "Gotta save the world from the Apocalypse, blah, blah, blah" shtick again. I think starting the show in the 1960s is a nice twist and it'll be fun watching the assorted family members navigate their way through the hallmarks of the era.

Promising start. Looks like this whole season will be set in 1963 which I'm totally on board with.
There's a slight disconnect I personally feel with the characters now though, I mean Allison literally got married and we missed it. What has Klaus done for 3 years? I'm sure we will get answers but they better give me some flashbacks too.

Somehow they managed to make the first episode of the second season less confusing that the last few episodes of the first season.

I'm thrilled to be back!

Number 5 went 10 days back in time before another apocalypse. So it does feel like season 1 in some cases. Otherwise the season starts really good. Even if it is a little slower than season 1.

I just knew when Diego ended up in 1963 he was gonna try to stop the JFK assassination lol

Ooh, and it's alright and it's coming along
We gotta get right back to where we started from
Love is good, love can be strong
We gotta get right back to where started from
A ha
Do you remember that day (that sunny day)
When you first came my way
I said no one could take your place
And if you get hurt (if you get hurt)
By the little things I say
I can put that smile back on your face
Ooh, and it's alright and it's coming along
We gotta get right back to where we started from
Love is good, love can be strong
We gotta get right back to where started from
A ha
A love like ours (a love like ours)
Can never fade away
You know it's only just begun
You give me your lo-hove (give me your love)
I just can't stay away (no, no)
You know you are the oh oh only one
Ooh, and…
