7.6/10. My god, I don't know how many episodes of the show I'm going to start out kind of meh on, and then laugh my ass off when everything comes together in the back half of the show. This one started off weird, even for The Venture Bros. with ghost presidents and creepy moms controlling their repressed sons and god knows what else, but it just built in both absurdity and hilarity.

I mean, Abraham Lincoln fruitlessly trying to explain who he is and get the help of Hank and Dean is one of the funniest bits the show's pulled off so far. And the idea that he can only interact using things with his likeness is such a weird rule that led to such amusing ends. Even Manstrong's repressed boyscout routine got funnier as it went on, culminating in a brilliant 2001 reference. Even Brock's rivalry with the Secret Service agent and the weird combination of Presidents Bush and Clinton had their moments. What a weird but laugh-worthy show.
