Oh Vince, you were doing so well until you added to the Scully abduction counter. I don't know how many it's up to now, but it's at least 5.

Ugh.

Edit: From the IMDB trivia page, i discovered Scully was abducted in season 1 episode Lazarus. That makes #6 times she's been aducted in the show. I am counting the time in Die Hand Die Verletzt, since Mulder and Scully were both captured.

SCULLY ABDUCTION COUNTER... #6

Other than that, this was a good episode. Vince has improved since his last written episode, keeping the idea of a good villain and improving in the investigation aspect of the case.

How strange. What are the odds that two episodes in a row feature the use of a orbitoclast? We should call Mulder and Scully and ask that they look into this. Despite a large flaw in the writing playing fast and loose with their own rules, via veering out of the lane of "psychic photos" into precognition. Why? Still, this is a nice episode featuring a good performance from Pruitt Taylor Vince.

Yep.. Good ole Scully.. STILL refuses to believe until she gets kidnapped... And then still doesn't. She's such a drag on this otherwise brilliant show

Pretty creepy. The best element is the psychic photographs that the killer unwittingly creates of the victims he's about to lobotomize. The lobotomy element is odd enough. The killer is remarkably normal until Scully figures him out. Then Gerry Schnauz becomes a freak show as well as one of the entire series's most memorable psychopaths. And did I mention how eerie the photos are?

Secondary characters in this episode: None
