Whoa so basically scully is pregnant with Mulder's baby.... Forbidden love lol.
A mid-to-poor episode during which Scully is responsible for endangering the life of a woman who subsequently has her baby stolen. She also endangers her own alien fetus. Why? Because she lies and doesn't communicate, again, specifically to an individual that has proven themselves time and time again. In addition, Scully, Doggonnit and Skinner all suddenly have terrible deductive skills and their cognitive ability went snafu. For approximately 45 minutes.
HOLY SHIT! I thought they had forgot, yet i always remembered, and they finally addressed it! They remembered! That of in season 2 or 3 when Mulder went on that investigation on his own, he found Scully's ova, and he took one or some. That episode and what he did, what he found, i believe was never addressed again, until now.
Mulder says he took them to a specialist and the ova weren't viable. That makes sense. Of course, that could be the only possibility as to why he kept it hidden.
Scully then decided to get a second opinion on the ova, and it was said there was a possibility for her to get pregnant, but it didn't work.
I actually forgot all about this.
If it worked it would have explained how Scully was able to get pregnant again and then got pregnant. It was the perfect explanation, rather than having it unexplained with various theories floating around. They probably should have nipped it in the bud with this episode.
Other than that, it's a pretty strange episode, and i don't quite like the story or how secretive Scully was being.
The story-arc returns, this time exploring the possibility that Scully's baby may end up being alien. This has some touching moments but seems like filler, at least for the moment. The pregnancy storyline does cause conflict between Scully and Doggett.

Clearly Scully hasn't learned anything. So there is a conspiracy of doctors to hide alien babies. Where do you seek refuge? From the Army, that it's IN from the beginning? That has secret alien planes and hides aliens? Yep good idea, they will for sure help you!
