Wow! This was very intense!
Everybody wants Scully's baby. It gets confusing trying to figure out who's good or bad even after watching the show for 8 seasons. It's gotten to the point where I don't care about the story arc in the least, but I am invested in Scully's struggles.

Lots of old characters joining forces in this advancing the mythology and the plot was very dramatic

So these alien beings were created to stop us from preparing against the upcoming invasion? Okay i guess. Seems an inefficient plan by the aliens, but it makes sense at least, i guess. Not why not just send more of those bounty hunters? We saw a ton of them/the alien race in the season finale of season 7 i think it was. We've seen bounty hunters doing this kind of work all through the show. Maybe because one of them was killed? I guess.
Why would the aliens be afraid of Scully's baby? They would only suspect it would be an alien human hybrid. They wouldn't have really cared in the first place, and Scully is just one woman and it's just one baby. But if they did care then i could believe they cared because the baby might be a perfect alien human hybrid, somehow created/Scully somehow got fertile again, not because of a "miracle" related to a godly presence. That makes no sense. Or can you just think that Krychek is lying about all of this.
