The cavalier changes to history are getting more and more extreme and it's ridiculous, and it's seriously taking away from what would otherwise be a very entertaining show

Loved this episode. What I love about this show is that they put our heroes in new situations every week and by that I don't mean they travel to different times. They change the dynamic. Like it's not always the same 3 people on the mission. They change the interaction between the characters in the present and that's exciting.

I agree with Lemicomo. Bringing Jessica back is a bit formulaic. I called it right after Wyatt and Lucy slept together. Jessica comes back. What I expect next is Jessica finds about about Lucy and Wyatt. Boring daytime soap dribble. Tired. No wonder the the show ended after 2 seasons.

Overall I’ve enjoyed up to this point. Add 1 to comment about making too many changes to history. They are tampering in ways that by now surely should be touching them all in much more tangible ways. To say nothing of how they handle the whole time change thing.
Mothership goes back. 100 years later the effects of the Ritt making changes is not effective immediately? What? So the time machines coming back is what seals the change? I don’t get it.

I still have mixed feeling about the return of Jessica. It doesn’t feel right, at least not the way it should be. At this point, they each have their own memories of their relationship and I just find that tangling.

On the other hand, Jiya is slowly becoming the best part of this show. There’s so much to unpack regarding her character, I’m actually mad that the writers probably won’t take the time for it.

The adventures are great, but...

These reckless changes to history -- saving not only the one who shouldn't have died but the other eight, as well? -- can have significant effects on the present, and I hope that they at least get recognized and treated beyond a few vocabulary changes ("what's a 'witch hunt'?").

And... I thought Rittenhouse would be going for precise surgical changes to carve out the history they want. Preventing the birth of Benjamin Franklin would result in massive changes of many sorts, well beyond his influences on speaking out against authority; there's nothing very surgical or precise about that. If they wanted to curb the First Amendment, I'm sure they could have found a much more precise way to do just that...
