I can’t believe that such a mediocre show ranked amongst the most popular series in Japan last year. While not terrible, it's far from great. I would even call it mildly entertaining if they didn’t spend half of the episodes spelling out the plot and shouting out how we should feel about each character.
I guess the exciting factor is that these junior high schoolers behave like full-grown yakuza bosses, but honestly, they could have all been 45 years old without making a difference. The mysterious time leap dynamics allow the 25 years old protagonist to go back in time and relive his junior high school days, but despite being the only adult in the story, he is often the most immature and embarrassing.
Well tbh i had high expectations for this show, i was really waiting for something great but found that unfortunately no at all, This season could be done in just 12 Ep but they made with 24 ep with a lot of useless scenes and just keep repeating some stuff, I'm pretty sure they could make it better than that, especially the story line, It's look like ( Let's make more story even we don't have so much ideas) so yah
but anyway i enjoyed it, not to much yah but this show one of the shows that you won't rewatch it again, anyway waiting for the new season soon
I liked episode one so much I read ahead in the manga and if this is done right this might be my new favourite anime of all time
