67 | Jake made the worst blunder he ever made in his career. He should listen to Katagiri, and now he is just a boy who is lost in the Yakuza world. This episode made us realize the real strength of this series is Tozawa, Ishida, and Sato. When Tokyo Vice did not tells stories about them, it became a boring show. The most boring part of this episode was anything with Polina.

||That ending though!! Didn't see that coming at all! Loving this show.||
Tender scene between Sam and Sato - what did she think would happen when she told him about the blackmail though?
Also Jake is annoying now and is such a narcissist. I can’t help but laugh when he runs and just kind of bounces as he does lol

If you're interested in the dynamic of the host and hostess bars, you should check out The Great Happiness Space (2006) documentary. You can really see the influence of that documentary on this episode.
