Tuca's expression at the end is just reat animation and character work, and the whole episode is an understated tragedy of good intentions and bad communication. Tuca and Bertie love each other. They're also terrified that they love each other too much, and scared the other might drift away. Trying to thread that needle is the running theme of the season, and I can't wait for more.
