Not too shabby. I thought that this first episode was pretty solid from what I expected it to be: just another shounen. Benio seems like a fantastic female MC so far with her "give no shits" attitude while still rocking the kawaii face from time-to-time. I'm more on the fence about Rokuro: OP male mc with past trauma who doesn't want to use his powers. Never been done before... We'll see how it plays out but I am always a fan of the "forced engagement" type of thing ever since the days of Ranma 1/2 so this pairing may appeal to me.

The animation was very solid in this first episode. The action and fight scenes were animated pretty well by Studio Pierrot. While I didn't really like the character designs initially (in particular, Rokuro's teeth are way too British), Benio's character design definitely seemed to work for me as the episode progressed (aka "she's a loli"). Looking forward to the next episode.
