The one where the third wave monster Varallon is setting bombs on the moon to destabilize its orbit, so our heroes have to spend a day readying themselves for a potential suicide mission to launch Earthy to a battle in space.
Fantastic episode, and I love not only the apocalyptic scale of Varallon's strategy, but that he actually pulls it off to a degree with Blazar only barely thwarting it. And I love that this come at the cost of separating Blazar and Gento with both floating to uncertain fates, still reeling from the damage of their union. I also like that the "we'll fly to the moon and fight the monster" is played with appropriate weight, giving the team time to not only get their affairs in order, but steel themselves with their decision to press on. Emi's thread takes a couple nice turns. I'm really excited to see how this all plays out next week.
