I loved season 1 and 2. The way Quinn and Rachel get the contestants to do every crazy thing, for what seems like no good reason except to win. Not cash or anything, just exposure. My biggest problem is that the two women start off as (sort of) friends. But by season 3 that's mostly gone, replaced by some warped competition to see who can get a man. Still, very well written, excellently acted, especially by the leads and smart. The women are also very damaged, by their pasts and their ambitions, which leads them to do terrible things, even though, especially for Rachel, she doesn't want to do them. She just can't help herself. I would absolutely recommend this show. One of the best tv series I've watched for the first time, in quite a while. I mean, I’ve rewatched The Closer and Boomtown, both shows that would be in my top 20 lifetime, but UnREAL is a very pleasant surprise to watch on these cold, windy winter nights. Oh, also, the contestants, both bachelors and bachelorettes, are stunning, and often very scantily clad. So, a way to WARM UP these cold dark February evenings.

Thirsty Rachel is so, so cringey! The second-hand embarrassment is through the roof! But in a certain way, I'm thinking she'd work well with Tommy. They're both messed up people.
Also, Candi. I hate her, but I love how aware she is of any and all manipulation.
