I overall did not like this season very much, too much illogical things going on to make an excuse for the development of the plot, also I did not like the amount of betrayals, there were simply too much of them and it made the plot hard to follow and understand at points. I did really like the ending of the season though, it was very well made.
I appreciate how respectful of religion this season has been so far. The ending was pretty insane also. Close to a 10 honestly. Some stuff just wasn't explained like how Lagertha managed to get a whole army to help him and how killing her husband made her Earl and some stuff like that.

MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW-
Once again Vikings delivers a PHENOMENAL season. From start to finish this season was filled with action, suspense, incredible fight scenes, romance and some of the best story telling I have ever seen. I am so blessed to be a fan of this show. Unfortunately whilst I was watching this some not so good things were happening at home so it took me a bit longer to finish it but even with the gaps between episodes I adored it, anyhow... Lets get into this.
First things first there's a couple characters I despised during this season (my opinion may change on them later on though...) these characters are Aslaug, Floki & King Horick. Aslaug I wasn't a fan of hers mainly because of her affair with Ragnar, I love Lagertha so seeing her and Ragnar break Lagertha's heart was devastating to me. Floki I thought was a traitorous weasel, I hated every scene with him in and honestly? If he died I wouldn't even blink, he was irritating the life out of me and King Horick is self explanatory He caused Floki's betrayal.
As the season goes on we see many fights between Ragnar's, Lagertha's & King Horick's forces against the forces of Wessex. These gave us some of the best fights I have witnessed with many characters dying or getting very close to it. We saw Ragnar win and lose, it was beautiful to see that even though they're the main characters... They aren't invincible. One thing I really disliked though was the fact King Horick was so jealous of Ragnar he couldn't see past his jealousy and would constantly make bad decisions and shouts just so he could overrule Ragnar.
One fight scene that bugged me was when Ragnar almost died. It was really frustrating because Rgnar clearly saw that the battle wasn't a good idea yet Horick once again had to overrule him and we saw the potential downfalls of their forces. If Horick wasn't so rash with his decisions and used his head instead of being lead by jealousy then I genuinely think they could have won that battle.
When it comes to Floki though he played me like a fiddle. I really believed he was not to be trusted and was betraying Ragnar at the first chance he got... Thankfully he wasn't. King Horick really did pick the wrong person to try and betray Ragnar in that situation. The finale was absolutely phenomenal, seeing Horick walk into the room to kill Ragnar to then be surrounded by everyone... WOW. He just knew instantly he had lost. Seeing him die as well was so satisfying, he was a horrible character. I'm sorry I doubted you Floki.
Overall season 2 was phenomenal and I can't wait to get stuck into season 3!!!
