A sandstorm, how convenient.
The whole Saxon part has been pretty boring since the beginning.
So Astrid just picks the first random fisherman, and asks him to betray his king and to go and warn their enemies. Just like that. Ain't that kinda crazy ? He then clearly abuses his knowledge of her betrayal, and could still betray her afterwards. At least she's not a total douche, she actually tries.
I think the only sign that Lagertha is weak is that Margrethe is still alive. She keeps conspiring, yet run pissing her pants when confronted, twice now. It may seem weak but what could Lagertha do ? Execute those who wanted to go with Floki ? Not really good for morale before an already fratricide fight.
The bishop starts to get interesting.
What a harsh episode in regards to power and women/men. All for a message. Hope it’s “worth” it in the end.
I’d have cut out Margarethe’s tongue way sooner. Ragnar punished people much harsher and quicker. How else are people to learn not to fuck with you?
what a boring and pointless show right now.
"The message" is a great episode? why? It is paving the way for a great upcoming epic battle (or battles)! Kudos to Michael Hirst and the production crew!
Besides, I loved all the scenes with Bishop Heahmund, I love that guy!
To previous comments, they arrived in Iceland.
Iceland, maybe, it sure does look like it and the Volcano also shouted Iceland.
What land did they arrive in with Floki?
