I really hate Floki's storyline this season
Nice! The only reason I wanted this war to happen was to see Bishop Heahmund fight. I wonder what is going to happen to him now.
How have we not heard Margarethe sing before? It's the only valuable thing she's truly good at.
The whole treaty is something of a joke. Why does Harald make such a big deal out of them being brothers vs. being indebted to someone who saved his brother's life, while the whole war is built on brothers fighting and going to kill each other. No one there found that "oooh but we're brothers, we can't fight each other"-thing was a little misplaced?
Anyone know what kind of poison darts those would have been? It's news to me there were any such customs back then, in the north.
That battle was rather graphic. Some nice touches, for the battles we didn't get to see the other season cough
The Bishop seems such a underdeveloped character. We know near nothing about him other than his hatred for Heathens and need to "purify" everything, along with his double standards. No true insights though.
Floki's arc is boring af. Makes little sense also. Shouldn't he have chosen religious people ? If not as high as him, at least a little. But that's clearly not the case here. They will fight, but it's all so long in coming.
The peace talk were quite weird. Ivar lying, coming back on his words, as usual. Harald having a fit about fighting his brother, well everyone else is fighting his brother or her ex-girlfriend, deal with it.
The fight was interesting but impossible to follow.
- They all run screaming, but there seems to still be wave after wave to send
- There were some of Harald's troops in the forest, were they going for the city ?
- What kind of poison dart is instantaneous like that ?
- Ivar goes back to protect the ship, but then just stops ? So he actually just sit there the whole battle.
- And Harald sees that, that he didn't even went to protect anything, and there are no consequences ?
- And the whole central battle is a mess, how do they even know who is friend or foe in there ?
Did ivar really lose or did he plan for harald to lose? Lol
The moment where Ivar pretended to accept the peace talkings was really weird...
Who else didn't expect Ivar's army to actually lose?
I mean No one believed when Ivar said there would be no war... jajaja
