This season has been very poor so far. Lazy writing, characters going nowhere, nothing interesting to be seen...

King Oleg is just as disgusting as Ivar

When they burst from the snow I held my breath. That was beautiful. And so horrifying. Ivar seems to have found his match in madness/cruelty. I wonder whether he is just a little terrified himself.

Again an episode I fear for Bjørn. Just what is this man getting himself into

Ivar’s trip on the Silk Road and hos new friends is such a boring part of this season.

A strong episode on all fronts.

Hvistserk became a drunk, seeing ghosts. That's the first interesting thing to happen to this character ever. Is he turning into a seer maybe ?

Lagertha is ready to take up arms again, even after swearing to the gods she would not. I was wondering what could happen with her after that: answer is nothing, so she will go back in it ?

The Knut/Harald interaction is fun

Bjorn is leading an attack with a bold plan, and Olaf's response is even better.

We got a little ceremony too.

And Oleg seems more normal but might be as crazy as Ivar in his own way. His brother was pretty honorable. He let him go when he could have still killed or imprisoned him just after getting his wife back. And yet this is how Oleg treats him. Torturing him, treating him like an animal, not even granting him a clean death. And the kid finds it funny ? Even if it's his uncle ?

I’m starting to be extremely irritated by Bjørn’s decisions. Ivar on the other hand has found his brother in cruelty.

Oh, Thora. I am getting such a strong vibe of Hela from Hellblade.
