So this is literally the same thing as in the beginning o season 1.. Someone wakes up in Wayward Pines and doesn't know where he is.

Some are acting like it's a remake of season 1. But it's clearly a continuation. I was afraid this season was a prequel and I am relieved it's not. Yeah someone new woke up in Wayward Pines like the Matt Dillion character not knowing what is going on.
But woke up in the Wayward Pines where things left off last season. So I didn't have a problem with that.

It's not as bad as i thought it would be, and they've salvaged the story somewhat. There's a war between the preps and the rebels, with the rebels led by Burke. Although this plotline does feel like it negates the ending of the first season somewhat. And then in the beginning episode of this, even though they set up a rebellion, the leaders of the rebellion are captured or surrendered. And Kate kills herself. Stupid.
The doctor, while a decent character, is a generic "new view" into the story that feels unnecessary. We want to see resolutions from the first season, not a borderline reset. It's annoying, and i don't really want to continue watching anymore. I also discovered that season 2 is all original material, and not adapted from any books like season 1 was.
While this hasn’t exactly held my attention an additional episode could be needed to see if the season is worthwhile watching
I’m wondering why they decided to eject the car and the three inside. The two in the back I could understand to a point but the doctor? He’s only just arrived.
If there is truly nothing beyond the wall I would want to be staying inside and making it work.
This is literally the worst season opener I have ever seen. Most disgusting and unoriginal portrayal of women ever. The women are insignificant and weak in this show, which pisses me off. My parents want to keep watching this but it's total trash. After really loving season 1, I abhor season 2. And yes, why does the stupid white teacher bitch get to live when her character in no way enhances or advances the story.
Wow, basically what we already know from Season 1 retold to me in a slow and non exciting way...... Let's hope this gets better. I loved the first season.
Amazing start to a new chapter. And oh now its a TV Series not Mini Series anymore!

Wasn't going to watch this as the story was complete in just the 1st season. Gave it a look though & have to admit, it doesn't look like it will have much/ anything interesting to add to the original premise.
