Finally a cop show that isn't copaganda. This was great television. Unsurprisingly, if you look at the resume of its creators.

Berenthal in that final scene really captures a man who, after everything, isn’t regretful but in disbelief. This is not the way it was supposed to go. Not what he signed up for. Not what he thinks he deserves. He still thinks he’s the hero. And where did the hero’s applause go?

David Simon is not pulling any punches here, especially with those text cards towards the end.The fact that this is a real story makes it even more aggrevating, and harder to watch.

Fantastic but depressing work.

Wow really great overall. Starts off a little all over the place but this wrapped up nicely. Lots of sad but true here.

Show started screaming Democrat logic with complaints about Trump. The mayor willing to embrace corrupt police so she can quote 'fund her babies' with useless social problems. while her so called 'babies' are getting beaten by the police she pays illegal overtime too.

The mayor loving the police corruption decided to fire the one guy that was trying to clean it up. She proceeds to hire another corrupt person to lead the PD and she's corrupt herself! But hey let's slam Republicans who deal with criminals while Democrats let criminals run rampant, granted I'm sure the Republicans would too if they were the criminals.

End of the series. Another great series from David Simon. The final scene is masterful. Batimore pictured again
