A few good scenes this week, but too much time was spend on C and Jay. These characters just don't bring the same performance and quality. I did enjoy the Hale and Caleb scenes though and it's good to have Maeve back. Let's kick some ***!
I remember when Westworld was exciting and interesting.... let's hope Maeve brings back some of that excitement ...

Even though the show isn't about what it used to be I still find it enjoyable to watch. Normally I'm not big on new additions after the main cast is established but Aaron Paul as Caleb has been one of the highlights of this very show paced season.
Actual Dolores not being in this episode seems strange and lackluster, Evan seems to be very underused this season and it's very noticeable.
I do enjoy the dinamics between Charlotte and Caleb, the ending implied that Charlotte too was as interested for Caleb's sheer humanity as Dolores and Maeve were. She just can't let go, bound to a loop as much as he is.
The big question is have Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy been replaced by hosts? Because I can't imagine how they could possibly greenlight these garbage scripts.
So disappointing. You could see coming that the escape was planned by Hale.
The last message by Caleb to her daughter was misused. It fell flat in the end. The combat scenes were a joke with all the gun point holding, it's ridiculous. At least, Maeve is back.

some lazy writing tropes though, could see it coming a million miles away that jay would conveniently slip on one of the things we happened to see in the flashback. also obvious that caleb's escape was planned and watched, but i liked it thematically since hale being so insistent on finding some key she missed when it's actually just "the human spirit" is nice. C's hatred of maeve was a bit contrived and she got over it reeeeal fast at the end.
What I don't get is a drone host reacting to being stabbed in the abdomen (maybe it's to let Caleb think he's closer to escaping?) and Frankie leaving a gun right outside the door with a suspected mole behind. Otherwise, getting closer to a banger finale :smile:
The end credit music sounded hopeful to me.
This could still be a good show about consciousness and free thought, just like Matrix 4 could’ve been about the same, but neither lived up to their potential

I truly don’t know what to expect in the last two episodes…but I hope is Bernard, Maeve and Cristhine (OG Dolores taking down Hale)…U_U
