Given the fact that there is ALREADY a major amount of inaccuracies between TBBT and YS, you absolutely SHOULD either stop adding non-canon lore, or go for all the facts that had been stated in TBBT.
This in-betweeny-solution is not only an annoyance for me, but would also be a nightmare for Sheldon. Promise.
