S.W.A.T.

The acting is horrendous, which is a pity as the budget is clearly big enough to make a decent shot of this. Way too much of Shemar Moore. He's a terrible actor.
The story behind 'street', of how he ended up on the team is weak and poorly thought out.
The whole series, while watchable, never once attempts to avoid the cheese, cheesy poses, cheesy one liners, cheesy shots of Shemar Moore with his top off for no story related reason.

9-1-1: Lone Star: 1x10 Austin, We Have a Problem

Wow, how did Liv Tyler get a part in this? The budget is clearly there, not much expense has been spared elsewhere, but then they fly in the face of all that and hire one of the worst actors I’ve ever seen for a leading character role.
The stories are good, well structured, with the right mix of long and short stories, the fire scenes are pretty well set up. The story with liv tylers sister has been awful from the start. It’s just getting wound up now and you can only hope that the producers see this as an opportunity to write Liv out. For every bit that Rob Lowe lifts the show, Liv brings it back down.

Wrong Side of the Tracks

Great storyline. Jose Coronado, Luis Zahera and Laura Ramos are all excellent. They each play strong characters, and do so brilliantly.
However large sequences of the show are frequently ruined by Nona Sobo’s horrendous acting abilities.

Sadly the show seems to have given up all thoughts on keeping and link to reality.
It’s been like this for some time, but gettin worse.
I just watched season 4, episode 16.
Shooter takes out several people.
Agent stands where first victim was shot and decides that the shooter had to be in a specific building.
They raid the building and decide what the shooter was probably in a hurry, so didn’t police his own brass.
Shock horror, they find a shell.
Within 30seconds, they have found who customised the shell.
When they visit him, he flee’s on a motorbike.
They search his records and decide he’s gone to his fathers warehouse, which they go to, and find his motorbike parked outside.

This is just the latest example of the lack of any link to reality that exists in this show now.

Producers need to do better, audiences are smarter now and demand more reality.

The actors are good. The storylines are good. Sadly, the link to reality lets it down horribly.

McMafia

This show has a great story and some decent actors in it. Sadly James Norton who plays Alex Goodman the lead is a real let down. He just cannot act and it ruins the show in so many places that it's almost unwatchable. He is supposedly having a tough time in this movie, his uncle is killed, his partner is under threat, plenty of other things happen, he barely raises an eyebrow emotionally. If there is an award for the most wooden actor, we've found the winner, though I wouldn't expect much of an emotional acceptance speech, quite aptly id imagine.
