Pretty much everything else though just left me wondering why? With a remake in a new medium I like to see them do something new and unique with said medium. While I did like some of the songs, I just didn’t think that the movie did enough to justify itself over watching the original film.
I really like that they did something new with these characters that (some of them at least) have been around for almost 100 years. It’s hard to do, but they pulled it off. I do wish that we could have spend more time with some of the characters though,
particularly Harley Quinn, who’s a favorite of mine. I thought they were going somewhere really interesting with her relationship with Montoya, and then she was gone at the end of the episode.
And that’s really my biggest problem with the show, it just didn’t spend enough time with some of the characters or ideas to really have the impact that I wanted. I overall had a great time watching it, but I think that I could have had a better time.
What a season opener. Every time I think that John and his team do everything they manage to one up themselves. Absolutely incredible!
I haven't even watched The Boys and I still think I found a new favorite show.
Also, Jordan is so relatable and I love them.
It might be because it was my first sapphic movie, but it’s still my favorite sapphic movie.
