to me, this is single-handedly one of the best love stories i've seen. apart from the stuff everyone has already been mentioned, it caught my attention that the things juha was strangled with got more&more transparent, maybe representing his relationship with mona.
dom has had a great monologue... it was very touching.
i think there's a couple pieces of the puzzle missing&answers remaining unanswered towards the end of the movie so i went to google. the answer i've found to one particular question didn't only fill in the blanks but it made the movie 10 times better in my eyes. the rest is quoted from reddit :)
therru turning into a dragon: it was explained at the opening of the movie that humans and dragons were once one immortal creature, but humans split from the dragons to pursue their own goals. therru is the living link in this myth, having forgotten her true dragon name and being transformed into a human. therru's true name means "light" which is why when cob kills the human therru at sunrise she remembers who her true self is and is able to return to her dragon form.
this one's my all-time favorite episode haha so good
As Xanda said “I love seeing gay people succeed!”
What a beautiful display of our community’s talent and capabilities once given a stage. I’m forever grateful for the many voices of queer beauty, be it heard or unheard. Big thanks to Sasha for introducing me to some amazing faces through your work.
Also, I got chills all over my callow flesh when Miss Colby took off her glasses and said “I’m the biggest queen of them all”. Absolutely love seeing her anytime, anywhere. She performs as one breaths, with such ease and precision. And one thing she’s gonna do is turn on her own damn fan! I live.
This is how I figured my soulmate is a 70 year-old Jewish woman from New York.
Fran has an incredible way with words, which she utilizes to keep you invested in what essentially is a mundane conversation between two good friends. Although the mini-series revolves around her views of the city, it's kept excited through references to popular (and not so popular), discussing sports, auctions, urban planning and of course politics. You also get bits of Lebowitz's life, although not nearly enough to figure out just how she came to be so full of rage.
this show -unusually for turkish tv, if you ask me- is actually quite good IF you're willing to ignore meryem talking and talking and talking which can otherwise cause you to tune out.. as much as i'm in utter shock to be saying this, the show has some great visuals! the story might seem a little patchy at first!
