Plots pile on top of one another, leaving me to work out how or if they’re linked. ... Not dark enough to be great, but highly bingeable.
Despite the great cast isn't funny as we hoped
this show is a masterfully acted, well-written, good intentioned nightmare snowball into a catastrophe.
turning from a comic to a rom-com is beyond me
It seems like the writers copy and past posts from infidelity subreddits. there is no depth, mediocre conversations, and bad acting. So what we get? The answer is an awful movie and a bad mini-series.
Beside the dialogue between the blond, fluffy-haired angel Aziraphale and the snake-eyed devil’s demon Crowley. there's nothing interesting, and the plot is obvious, especially with those prophecies.
Incredible cast, dynamite opening, and that's it. The Outsider could easily have been distilled into a movie or at least a 5 episodes mini-series. Instead, we get a 10-episode slog through crime-drama cliché so oppressive and tedious.
If you liked Salem it's the next show for you. On the bright side the costumes are top notch, the music is a joy to hear even the vesual effects are simple and nice but if you didn't here for that here's what you get:
- To many gaps between the episodes. It feels like there no coherence and no building up for the next event.
- The plot is too obvious and too clishé.
- First sight love stories are so passé
- The big finale the origin of transsexual women
yeah its full of cliches and nothing original but it well written and well executed and I wish that they will work on another sequels
full of cliches, weak plot and it was just idiotic with Tom Cruise God mod activated
first of all its slow ,too slow at the beginning and they neglect the good things about the story like the child birth on the middle of an air raid and the concentrate on stupid things like brad walking and Pitt fucking . such a slow movie and they can't build the plot the right way. its a bad thing to watch a groupe of talented actors wasting their time.
If you want to watch it just skip the first hour
The plot is predictable but I enjoy it. I enjoy how the accountant don't blink, how he live, how he survive.
I never read erotica, I just watch porn, but this adaptation here is a convincing argument to change my mind and start reading it. I love the intention to details, the music, the desperate romantic ending and the irony of name cherifa.
Binge-watched the entire show in a matter of two days. The first season is dark, and it feels honest and real, I loved how they didn't use a background music just amplified the surrounded noise. The first season is well-rounded and never boring, the actors are playing their parts beautifully, specially the lead actress. But I can't say that for the second season. It's just grimy and claustrophobic, I don't understand the whole Bria thing and for Erica and Anna it's just a poor fan version of house
of cards with 2 lesbians as lead characters.
The characters are believable and likeable, if occasionally cliched. The same goes for the storylines. I really appreciate the fresh look at the poly-relationships.
Wow, watching the end of one of your favorite shows is always overwhelming and emotional. I remember when I first watched the first trailer and asked myself how this show will fill in the shoe for dexter and oh boy it did; it did it so well that I forget that dexter is a significant show in the lines below I will highlight, the seasons we watched.and talk about the show pro's and con's
Season 1
Carrie Mathison, a CIA officer battling her own demons becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody, a United States Marine Sergeant who had been missing and presumed KIA for eight years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al-Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. And she gets it right .
the buildup in the first season was well paced, the writers done an outstanding job introducing us to each character fears and struggles and the acting was top-notch.
Season 2
Carrie continues her hunt for terrorist leader Abu-Nazir while maintaining a complicated relationship with Brody that straddles the line between personal and professional; and they force him to work more closely with the CIA; Jessica Brody struggles to keep her family intact despite increasing difficulty connecting with her husband; Saul discovers a clandestine plot to turn things around.
in this season we confirm that life sucks and we just compromise, we don't choose or decide, we just compromise and that life is an infinite shade of grey and the Stockholm syndrome is just a gene buried in everyone of us.
Season 3
Carrie goes to extraordinary lengths to solve the latest crisis at the CIA while dealing with a deeply personal secret; Brody struggles to survive; Saul must walk a tightrope and play many opposing sides to keep his job at the CIA and try to revive his troubled marriage; Quinn has a crisis of faith.
if they ended the show here trust me they had a chance to put Breaking Bad to bed, but they stretched it thin instead.
Season 4
Carrie's career at the CIA takes off when she becomes an overseas station chief in a highly volatile region, but every drone strike and tactical raid comes at a cost and she quickly learns the true price of power. Saul fights to stay in the intelligence game.
the writers in this season just lost it and try to come up with a plot by just injecting new characters and an unhealthy dose of bipolar drama.
Season 5
The game has changed for Carrie Mathison. Out of the CIA and living in Berlin, Carrie is trying to start a fresh life but realizes now she's the one with a target on her back. As the danger intensifies, and without Saul and Quinn to rely on. And I can't say anything to describe how bad it is. It's just a fucked up.
Season 6
Taking place several months after the previous season, Carrie is back in the United States, living in Brooklyn, New York. She is now working at a foundation whose efforts are to help Muslims living in the United States. The season features a presidential election and takes place between election day and inauguration day. The season will also discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
somehow they got the show on track again and make us interesting again.
Season 7
Carrie has left her job in the White House and moved back to D.C. to live with her sister Maggie. She takes on the Keane administration to secure the release of the 200 members of the intelligence community who were arrested under President Keane's orders. it's just a DLC to the previous season !!
Season 8
Carrie Mathison is recovering from brutal confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured. This is a problem for Saul, National Security Advisor to President Warner, who has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in Afghanistan peace negotiations. But Kabul teems with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies - and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion's den - one last time.
This time it's the last time it's when life puts you against your friend in a SAW movie scenario, if you can rank the show's seasons this season will be the 2nd best season of the show with it fast pacing and the light plot. For me it's just unsatisfied to see that mellow ending, to see Carrie demanding forgiveness by turning herself into a double agent if it's up to me I will just inject Saul and make Yevgeny put a bullet in Carie's head Ozark style just a clean dramatic ending and don't get me wrong with all the up's and down's in this show its a MUST WATCH
This movie is fun to watch and is a good respond to the famous question:from where I come?
I like this concept of exorcism but the writing is bad and there are no build up for the story nor the characters. This movie is a good idea executed badly.
Kevin spacey is great whether he is the president of U. S or just a cat, this movie is a good choice for hanging out with the kids.
Except Samuel L Jackson no buddy is acting , they just read the script. They don't mean what they said, this movie is a huge despointment
Just random loud noises, random footages and predictable ending
Despite a cliche ending this was a good movie to watch
FUNNY AS HELL and immensely entertaining.
Less magic, more talking then the first one but it enjoable to watch
