I don't know why others think that the chemistry between the characters isn't good. You should probably give it another go. I really enjoy watching it.
I don't normally write reviews. But I felt the need to do so for this one. I don't know where to begin. I'm out of words, all the emotions I felt watching this masterpiece. It left me in tears. It's called 'Queen of tears', after all. From the first episode to the very last, I was crying, laughing, then crying again. I felt angry, sad, and happy. The last time I felt all this from a show was "Crash landing on you." It was my number one. Now I have 2 number one cause I can't choose between them. What I can easily say is that it's one of the best kdramas I've ever watched.
Best performance from all cast I wouldn't change any of them. They cast the best for each role. The chemistry between Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo-hyun is top-notch. I will miss each and every one of them. My weekends won't be the same.
If you like crash landing on you, you will definitely like this one for sure. I recommend this show 100%
Netflix doesn't disappoint with this show. I recommend watching at least the first 4 episodes of season 1 before you decide whether you like it or not. I was hooked after the 4th episode. Season 2 is by far better than the 1st. The cast is amazing and talented . Alba Baptista is so good.
I was expecting more but it was nothing special.
Wow! 'Why her? ' Is one of the best k dramas I've ever watched, from the storyline to everyone who worked on and off screen and the best of it is the female lead. The acting was so good I couldn't stop watching it. It's intense, keeps you on the edge and you can't stop after the first episode. Romance and mystery all in one.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where people with power and money rule. What this drama taught me, even if everything and everyone is against you there is still hope. You should never give up. The truth always comes out in the end.
There will always be some people who will fight for what it's right.
I loved how Gong Chan chose to forgive Oh So Jae's mistakes when he found out about her betrayal because he truly believed that 'Everyone makes mistakes'. Mistakes are easy. The hardest part is to admit you made a mistake and have the courage to face and fix it. At the end of the day you have to live with the consequences of your actions and mistakes.
For me it's a must watch.
Great show. Definitely worth watching. Hope there are more seasons to come
Loved it. The chemistry between the main couple is awesome. I already new them from 'Mysterious Love' and that was the main reason why I decide to watch this. Love of replica is full of suspense, action and romance. Short drama with 16 episodes Didn't expect the plot twist. I thought the two female leads Xu Xi Xi and An Yue played by the beautiful and talented Yilia Yu were twin sisters and not clones. The story has a happy end, yeah! Respect to Yilia Yu, she had to play two completly deferent personalities. She is amazing. For those that watched the easter egg scene after the credits of the last episode and have no idea what is happening, I reccomend watching Mysterious love then you will understand. But it's not necessary cause there are two defferent stories
Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. Find it kinda boring just another office romance.
Love action and suspence describe best this drama. Decent story line. Good chemistry between the cast. Finished in 2 days. I enjoy it but I wouldn't watch it again.
This series is not what you think it is, so don't judge beforehand. Yes, it's a forbidden story. Yes it's a realtionship between a teacher and her student. Yes, in real life this kind of relationship is unacceptable for so many reasons. But as mentioned before it's not what you think it is and is definitely worth watching it. First of all, the chemistry between the two protagonists is so so so good. Second in the first 4 episodes you will think that this is it, but please keep watching the good stuff starts after the 5th and 6th episode. The story takes a turn and becomes so much more that you wouldn't even believe this could happen. By the end you will be speechless, trust me thinks are not always as they seem.
I decide to watch it cause of Song Hye Kyo. It started off nice, but after the 3rd episode it went downhill. I had such high hopes, so I was a little disappointed. I couldn't keep up with the story. It's not a romantic story as I thought in the beginning (no problem with that). Yes, they have great chemistry (the second couple had way better chemistry). Yes, I can understand some of their decisions regarding their jobs. What I cannot understand is why she can't date the half brother of her old boyfriend. And why at the age of 38 should anyone need permission to do what they want with their lives? Why they had to let their parents interfere and separate them? You can't let others tell you how to live your life, even if they are your parents. Ιn the end It's YOUR life. Way too slow for me and I'm sorry but the story doesn't make any sense. I liked the beginning, but after every passing episode it was getting more and more difficult to watch. Thank god I finished it.
I'm really sorry, but I cannot recommend it
I must admit that I only watched it cause of Son Ye Jin. It was an ok show to pass the time nothing else.
The storyline wasn't something special but an overal good series to pass the time . The main leads have great chemistry together.
To tell you the truth in the beginning the only reason I watched was Son Ye-Jin, but I really enjoy it in the end. They look so good together. Hyun Bin as a bad guy, yummy. And Ye- Jin is amazing as always. A decent movie to pass the time. Nothing more, nothing less.
Not my cup of tea. I do prefer Korean drama to the Americans but this one was too much. Also the end was so bad.
Earlier this year I start watching Korean dramas and listening to kpop (mostly blackpink). The shows are way better than the American ones.
Son Ye-Jin is one of my favorite actresses from crash landing on you and something in the rain to thirty-nine and the last princess I was in wow watching her portraying all these characters and trust me she never disappoints.
This drama is let's say a forbidden love story between two people that unfortunate circumstances brought them together more than once . A love story that breaks all the barriers.
The two main leads Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Se-Ri have great chemistry that melts your heart.
He is an army officer from North Korea tall, dark and handsome, brave and carrying. Stiff and at the same time soft like a teddy bear. Doing everything and going against anything to protect the women he loves.
She is a strong, independent and optimistic woman from South Korea. Hopeful and so so so beautiful. Caring and loveable. The way she shows her emotions, the way she cries, laughs and talks left me speechless. I can't help but feel protective over her for what she's been through. Her mother abandoned, caring only for her brothers. Her brothers wanting her gone. I don't want to spoil much, so I'll stop there.
I must also say, the series wouldn't be the same if the soldier comrades were missing. They were loyal and funny. Caring deeply for their boss and the woman that made their life upside-down. In the end, they became family.
16 episodes over 1 hour each and I finish it in 3 days. I definitely recommend it. Thank God we have Switzerland
Starting this series, I thought it would be a good pass the time series about friendship. It was so much more than that. Friendship/family/love/loss all in one. It touched me in ways I didn't know it was possible.
This drama, shows how in one moment everything can change and can't be the same ever again. That you have to live your life to the fullest and not hold back on the things you want to do thinking that you have time.
The tears I have cried throughout this drama :sob:.Every episode is an emotional rollercoaster. The friendship between the three many characters so touching and inspiring. I would love to have friendships like theirs. I can't stop thinking about what they did for one another. What they've been through in their early age and what they had to face now.
The writers did an amazing job, different storylines yet everything come together as one. I'm so happy that I found out about it. I definitely recommend it. From the cast to the screenwriters to all the people that worked to give us this beautiful drama, a big Thank you  . One of the best k-drama I have watched and definitely will re-watch.
It was good but in my opinion the Korean version 'The handmaiden' is by far better
So, I just got around watching it, yes I know 6 years too late. In my defense I watched the British version first (the Fingersmith series) and thought they are one and the same. That was my mistake. It is based on the book and yes there are almost the same emphasis on the almost. But this one is by far the better one. Some think are explained better in the British version for example the reason around wearing gloves. But still for me this one is better. There is a plot twist within the plot twist. The movie is separated in three consecutive chapters and you go from one plot twist to the other, that leaves you in stun. Let's say it's a sweet revenge of the two leading ladies on all the men that have wronged them, while falling for each other . I definitely recommend it, is a Masterpiece everything is done perfectly from the two leading actresses who are amazing and have great chemistry to the sick son of a bitch uncle. I watched the extended version, it's 2 hours and 48 minutes the normal cut is around 2 hours and 24 minutes. To tell you the truth I don't know the deference between them and which scenes are cut or shorten . I would have gone without the last scene or a lighter version of it. Perfect end!
