I wish they wouldn't allow people to rate shows before they premier. Just finished the docuseries and it's amazing and based off the ratings that others have you wouldn't think so

Massive difference between season 1 and 2, Season 2 way better.
Thought it was genius and another instant heist classic. One day I hope people give it the respect it deserves. One hint of advise, WATCH WHITE LAST. Watch the rest in whatever order you want, but watch WHITE LAST.

The first 10 minutes were good.
They are still trying to get on their feet but you have to give them a break because it has been several years since and this show just got your renewed.
The show is great an was a breath of fresh air. Should not have been cancelled.
An honest review...
On the scale I rate this an 8, and I don't do that much.
This wasn't a documentary, it was fictional retelling of a story which happened recently that to a lot of people who followed it, seems unrealistic. The goal of this limited series is reached l, it tells the main aspects of the story, while at the same time using dramatic license to make it more enjoyable. The cinematography is well done, the acting is decent, and the writing (despite a couple of political jokes that clearly weren't necessary) was great.
My one and only complaint about Inventing Anna is the obvious jabs and mentions of social issues that weren't necessary because they added nothing to the story, at all. Which, as you can see from other reviews, is an instant turnoff for a lot of people and distracts from the story.
A movie with great actors, a different take on a over done concept, and so much potential. In the end all this movie proceeds to do is bore and annoy you with it's plot holes, sudden deaths, and plot twisting revelations which come far to late into the movie. It falls into the category of not bad, but not good.
I wish that everyone would watch this, especially today when we are reaping what was down in the pass. Just watching this reminded me about how hard people fought for what I take for granted today. Great documentary, good acting, great information. Clearly a must watch for those who are fans of history and also for those who aren't.
