It's an okay film. The performances by the cast and the way the story was told i.e. the flashbacks merging with the present, not knowing what was real and what wasn't, was done well. But it was so incredibly predictable it was hard to find it scary.
Steampunk Snowpiercer with zombies? Hyped for the rest. The visuals and animation are perfect and it has just the right amount of gore.
Holy crap. Awesome first episode. This is definitely going to draw comparisons to Attack on Titan. Same studio, art style and "humanity is screwed" themes. But zombies and steampunk!
We even have Sawano Hiroyuki doing the soundtrack again.
The first episode really hit the ground running with the action and introduction to this world and the characters. Definitely can't wait to see more.
if we ignore all the fat shaming of it, its actually quite good
A very bloody episode. the most violence I've seen from this show which up until then was pretty tame.
The movies starts off really well. The acting is good and the story line is initially captivating. Half way through the movie it's seems like everything goes downhill, the story gets more and more far fetched, the acting starts to get hokie, it's like the director got to a point where he rushed to the end as fast as possible without regards to the viewer. It could have been done so much better.
Seriously? You made up all these boyfriends because you had a stuffed lamb? Lady, you're out of you're freaking mind!
Aw, it ends showing you that you were talking to the imaginary image of your stuffed animal. Now that's motivating and not lonely at all!
I thought it was a bit too sappy at times (don't all Korean dramas tend to be?), but it was overall funny and cute, and quite enjoyable. I felt the boys, specially Ji Woon, took a little while to grow on me, but they all eventually did. All actors were quite competent too. It looked like Park So Dam struggled with some scenes, but it didn't ruin anything. Some characters were terribly annoying, and I suppose not everyone's ship will make it to the end, but I promise Ji Woon's smile eventually wins over any heart, making up for any couple you might hope would never happen.
A very likable trait of this drama is that it keeps negativity to a minimum. Even the antagonists who plot against Eun Ha Won or the Kang cousins aren't the overly cruel sort and even they find their own balance eventually, making this is is really a great option for everyone who might be looking for a very light-hearted romantic comedy. The show has been fairly compared to Hana Yori Dango, and though I think plot-wise things really are similar, Cinderella and Four Knights still stands on its own, besides having less of a comedic focus than that other story does. This is mostly a show to make you smile rather than to make you laugh, and I think this is a very pleasant watch I'd recommend to most rom-com fans.
(At the date of this post, the show has been freely and legally available at DramaFever, from December 24 to January 2nd, 2017. There's still time to catch it in case you aren't a premium user already!)
Things got too slow for a season of just 12 episodes :(
the worst adaption I´ve ever seen.
Light, a stupid teenage student, uses the Death Note to impress Mia, a girl he likes.
They go rampage and kill criminals. L is getting emotional while it all turns into some comedy/love drama, because Light didn´t want to murder his own father.
If they changes ALL the names and maybe the title, the movie wouldn´t be that bad. But if you expect a Death Note movie, you´re only getting dissapointed.
I don´t even mind the "white whasing". I don´t mind, that L is black, Light is called Turner or Mia is just some random classmate of him. There personalities are all completely different and "Kira" is just a boring person.
Light= crybaby
L= over emotional
Mia= Badass villain?
Ryuk= Cool, but wasted
Okay, i'd rather watch boku no pico than this crap again.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO AND AGAIN A BIG NOOO! Sure i wasn't expecting much but damn it they had a really good material in their hands to actually do something awesome. And what they did was absolute shit. No mate. If you want to use the name of Death Note, even if you dont do a direct adaptation there are still some key things that you had to keep. Light for example. My god wasn't he awful. Light was supposed to be a trully brilliant psychopath, cold with no empathy what so ever and really good tactician. But this dude. My god. A dumb,angry teenager with not a drop of brain in his head.Testosterone speake dto him , since he did all that to impress that freakin cheerleader. What men do to f@#k. And L. He was supposed to be as brilliant as Kira. They had something going on there. Here L found out who Kira was in one sec. No brilliance there. And towards the end he turned into a sentimental brat.
Ryuk was actually the only good thing in this whole movie and they only gave him like 10 lines.
I laughed hard at the scene on the ferris wheel and the song they used in this one. OMG it was hilarious. Just it didnt fit this scene. It was totally ridiculus.
No. I really warn you. I was going to watch this for the heck of it, but at least i expected they would try just a little.If you are an anime fan like i am do yourself a favour and don't watch this shit. Even if you completely try to forget the original this still is a shitty movie. Shame on you Netflix. I hope if you ever try to brutally murder a good anime in the future, you do a much better job.
HAVE A BUCKET READY TO CATCH YOUR TEARS.
Daebak ... the acting in this drama left me overwhelmed, I just watched the finale and I guess I won't stop sobbing any time soon !!
can anyone change the number of episodes in this drama? It's actually 32 and not 40. Thanks!
Soooo I feel like this drama promotes an awful message about beauty, but ignoring that, it wasn't the worst thing.
First episode is atrocious. Choices from characters (and plot) are stupid.
After a couple of episodes it is a little bit better, but it is a bad tv show. Not decent enough to have a second season and low standard to be "by Netflix".
Weak at most, acting is dreadful and the plot is unoriginal, just a zombie show without the zombies. Characters make no sense and there's no development at all. It does entertain a bit, especially because of the visuals, but I'm not sure I'll be watching season 2 (if there ever is one)
So many plot holes. Idiotic acts from the characters and it seems the characters can always predict when the rain will come. No protection what so ever and they jump inside just before the 1st drop lands. Every god dmn time? And a puddle is dangerous but damp grass not? So bad writing. Its a shame. had more potential. Will i see season 2. Not sure yet. I want it to be better next time.
The first episode did have some strange behaviour from the characters as if they suddenly hasn't experienced a trauma before they rushed headlong confidently to suffer yet another. I also get the nagging suspicion that if this situation were real they'd be wearing scuba suits by day or at least broad brimmed hats and gloves to keep off the rain if there was a light shower.
Really liked this! Not my fave drama but I thought the premise was really interesting & the romance was cute. I did skip some parts since the show strongly relies on flashbacks (of scenes we've already seen) and long stares into the distance that take up a few seconds here and there.
kind of waste my time, and i don't think the relationship between Hee-joo and Jin-woo is necessary. Only a tool to keep the plot going on. The scenes taken in Granada makes me want to visit though. the alhambra too.
Worst season of the show. It basically destroyed the entire purpose and spirit of the series by trying to inject Stargate plotlines that goes nowhere, terrible character plots and cringe dialogue, and overused drama that make every character look like a clown. Don't waste your time in this season wanting to know the ending.
