The film has a strong potential worthy of a Black Mirror episode yet the technology presented in the film is not even explored at its finest. The ending felt bleak but is an interesting choice to make the audience come up with their own theories.
This is the lamest comic book movie in a while. The first act is terrible but once the symbiote finally get to Eddie Brock it picks up. The best part by far is Tom Hardy talking to himself. Everyone else is just bland. The effects are fine but the final fight is just a total CGI fest and kinda dull. This isn't worth paying for but it's worth watching to see Tom Hardy act crazy.
Edit: I did like it a little bit more on rewatch just because Tom Hardy is going all out.
This is ok. The action is decent. The jokes don't always work but the ones that do are funny. The story makes no sense and people seem to fast travel instantly. Most of the characters are completely forgettable. It feels like it trying to be raunchy just for the sake of being raunchy. But I still had some fun with it.
Outstanding episode that shows how Michael, deep down, believes in what he does and the people he supervises, no matter how inept he may be at his job. There's lots of laughs in his embarrassing speech to Ryan's class, and lots of great human moments, like when he gives Pam the acceptance she needs when her art show's going poorly. Really great work on both the comedy and emotion front.
Great finish.
Opposed to others, I like the fact, that some things kept being changed (like Lucys Sister) - we should never forget, that wars have casualties (and Season 2 was definitely a war, just not between nations) and no one can have everything back they lost.
I'd obviously have liked a 3rd season better, but like said above: You can't have everything and a 2-Episode finale is better than a show being axed on a cliffhanger (man i hate that...).
This is a very charming movie. The movie deals with stereotypes and racism in the 1960s as well as you would expect. Racism is bad, stereotypes aren't always true but the journey is fun with these two. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali are both fantastic. They play very well off each other. Being directed by Peter Farrelly there are quite a few funny moments too.
I just got back from a preview showing for the new Spider-man movie, and WOW. It is LIT (pardon my language). Soooooo funny with tons of personality and a surprisingly great depth of emotion in quite a few scenes (some tears may have been shed). I love this new take on the comic book hero origin movie and the entire film just screams originality. I wasn't 100% sure on the animated look before, but it really fits into the entire setting and "alternate dimensions" premise of the movie later, which injects a ton of creativity and potential into this new film.
After Sony released Venom, I thought that they should just stop trying with the Spider-verse. However, this new film and universe gives me a completely different perspective. I can't believe something like this came from Sony...
Good, but not quite there, i think it could had a little more thought making this to fit what the viewer wants and expand the choices to not be a dead end and have to go back.
Outstanding season. Maybe as good as the first.
A great wrap up to the season and the whole series if it doesn't come back.
If it does come back I can't wait to see how things are different.
Holy twist, batman!
What a powerful episode. I was moved so much by Nell and Arthur too. What a beautiful couple. Their union was so weighted with us as the viewer knowing their fates. Brilliant as always.
Damn. That last scene literally sent goosebumps through my entire body. Holy shit! It definitely stays with you. What a beautiful, hauntingly heart wrenching episode. All of them were really, really good so far, but this was exceptional.
The movie just flows so well. Robert Redford gives a fantastic (last?) performance. He is so charismatic and charming that I wouldn’t mind getting robbed from him. Everyone else gives a good performance too. I loved how this looked and felt like an old movie.
a lot of action, killing, blood, naked chicks, sex, good acting!
Just how i like my horror movies.
Better than all the Halloween movies combined.
Even though this whole season sucked big time I am happy they have given us a finale it truly deserved. It finally brought the magic back from when it 1st started. This whole season I couldn't connect to any of the storylines but this final episode was the true heart of the Oncers bringing back everyone was the right thing and I'm very happy with this ending..well done writers
Kate McKinnon is a little too much. Mila Kunis is good. Just your typically studio comedy. There were some funny jokes but for the most part it is forgettable.
This episode had me in tears. I don't recall ever giving a 10 to a Travelers episode before, but this one won it with all my heart. Amazing writing and great acting delivered us an unexpected heartbreaking Marcy's back story.
