I'm a big fan of spy movies, but this was terrible. It felt like it was written by an AI. Dumb story, zero genuine idea, bad actors, zero chemistry, bad dialogs.
It was very predictable. Not awful, just meh.
S01 was way better.

Never kill the main enemy when you have the chance - just to continue the neverending story.
It’s a shame because the characters, actors, design, makeup are all great, just the story line is dumb. It’s like Lost: there is always something big but it leads nowhere, it never ends, it never has a closure, just to stick you to the screen.
Just perfect with that Genesis song backed scene.
Soulless product with hollow and dumb plot (snake under the sand with the dagger, wtf). This is what you got when you create movies based on fanservice and merchandise demands.
The characters are shouting to each other non-stop, no arc, no development, no weight of their actions (Oh, Chewie died... no he did not. OK.)
JJ wanted to undo everything what Rian Johnson in TLJ did. It's silly when you see the clash of the directors in a trilogy. They could have just do a friendly box match and leave us out of it.
Basically we got a third trilogy of SW that ends the same: Palpatine zaps himself with his lightnings. Very "creative".

It was like it was written by an AI. You saw every “turn” from a kilometer. There is nothing new in it. The actions of the characters are full stupid, the long waitings before speaking are hilariously try to create tension. Oh, it’s just so bad and empty.
