I just saw the first episode of the series and I immediately fell in love. I couldn't stop laughing and getting second hand embarrassment because, as a man with extreme social anxiety that makes me feel like I am about to puke whenever I meet someone new, I just saw myself within bocchi. I too learned how to play guitar as a way to make some friends and I cringed so hard when she brought the guitar to her school because I new that the sad reality is that nobody cared before and they weren't going to start now. It made me feel seen, like "hey, introverts with social anxiety exist out there, be a pal to them (in their terms please, there's nothing worse than an out going person making you fell like you're not a good friend because you don't want to go out to party every weekend). Anyway, this show is great and hilarious, watch it.
I cried three times during the end, enough said
I only have one word to describe this show. Marvelous!!
The only good thing of this anime is the animation, everything else is plainly bad and boring
I though this was a fun and cute show but it turned out to be a boring and cute show, I can count with one hand the amount of times I laughed, the worst offender? It was just cliché after cliché.
Created by Craig McCracken, there, that's all the synopsis you need.
This is one of the only romance anime that I liked. It also opened my eyes to classical music and now it is something that I enjoy occasionally.
This has to have been my favorite discovery while on lockdown, a comfy slice of life. It also made me go camping and discover that I love doing it.
