Great cliffhanger to a great episode. Part 3 will continue in 2023 and I'm looking forward to it.
I've heard a lot of great things about this show and the first episode is very promising.
The premise is set in Germany and I believe the majority of our interactions with the main character will take place in the hospital though I'll likely be wrong. The story has already established what kind of person Dr Tenma is and I'm excited to see where his journey will progress throughout the next 74 episodes. An interesting concept I find intriguing is whether all human lives are equal or not. This has already created conflict within our main character's beliefs and morals and I'm excited to see what more he has to bring.
Overall great start
This is simply the perfect show for me. From the complex characters and plot to the mind-bending twists and thought-provoking philosophical ideologies that clash into one completed show allowing this show to be the masterpiece it is. I can now safely say this show is truly amazing without having to exaggerate. Every episode of this masterpiece shocks you in ways you never thought was possible. The constant gripping revelations were so unexpected but because of the foreshadowing, anyone paying attention could see what's to come. With all the plot threads arching throughout a century of a town's history it managed to tie the story so well together. Exceptional and convincing acting skills by the entire cast and tons of heartfelt scenes between different character dynamics. This show is the perfect epitome of a well thought out show, meticulously crafted and executed so well and overall knows where it's trying to advance its story. This show has revolutionized time travel storytelling and is definitely one of the most throughout and consistently written shows of our time.

From the performances, the ever-so-slowly unraveling global conspiracy in the story/plot, the characters, the directing, the writing, the cinematography, the set design, costume design, editing, and lighting (and something else I'm sure I must be forgetting), everything is top-notch for me.
What seems to turn people off of this show is how it radically changes in its second season, and even partially through its first season. I guess I can understand this, Mr. Robot isn't a show for everyone. But I appreciate this because I personally felt that Mr. Robot came into its own when it started to get super abstract and philosophical and character-focused later in season 2. That's where I feel like it really became "Mr Robot" to me. No matter what, the plot moves nowhere before the characters are thoroughly explored. Those are the priorities of the show. The complex conspiracy in the main plot is often cast aside for character study and emotional development because the characters are the most important part of the story. This makes it so that once the full truth behind the conspiracy is ready to be revealed, it'll feel so much more rewarding getting to experience it with all of the characters that have had plenty of time to be thoroughly emotionally explored. Because, in the end, why care about the people in the world of the show if that aspect is being cut short for less impactful story arcs and reveals? Truly one of the best shows on Television.
