Code 8 Part II

If you were wondering, this is worse.

Feels like a 2h30 movie that needed to be way shorter. Scenes, stunts, characters reactions... I felt like entire scenes or cuts were missing, everything feels incomplete, sped up. As said in other comments, the writing is lazy. The boundaries between Robbie and Sirena is fully forced and artificial ; there are plenty of "I trust you" scenes ; the plot is linear but there is no logic in the events occurring, like I didn't understand why they had to run away in the first place. There was no point in doing so but I guess it was just a way to liven up the screenplay and have something to watch.

Shame, because FX is good, acting is meh-ok, the underlying story is interesting but there is no control over the whole result. Wasted potential and very frustrating.

Nope

Disappointing. I mean, I get all the ideas in this movie, I really do. It is a shame all those ideas are badly exploited. You need to see this for yourself to understand how disappointing it is.
Would I recommend it ? Nope.

Reality

Worth watching, and quite incredible. Everything, from the questioning to the body language is amazing. Sydney is really at her peak, and I hoper she goes further. A great (short) movie.
Would give it a 7, but since there is an army behind T, I give this wonderful psychological movie an 8.
