This movie was bonkers! I definitely enjoyed watching it.
Rambling, confusing story. Not one of Naschy's better efforts.
A double dose of Nashi as he plays an Indian holy man battling his evil, twin brother's Voodoo-raised zombies in swinging London. Chaos ensues.
Offbeat vampire story. Among Barbara Crampton's best performances.
Quirky, weird, absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever! I loved every minute.
What a great metaphor for how the military industrial complex sells itself to Americans by promising to deliver whatever they want while actually is ripping families apart and destroying us all.
Awesome soundtrack!
I was really hoping this movie would be freaking awesome! It was still pretty good, bloody, gory, and even a little bit psychedelic. The action scenes were a little tepid though.
My first number 10 of the year. A searing and uncomfortable journey through toxic masculinity and a tour-de-force performance from Carey Mulligan
Fairly slow and Taki for the most part. I lost interest once the big reveal happened. Kim Da-mi was amazing.
While not quite a dog turd cigar, this movie is best for Paul Naschy or Caroline Monroe lovers only!
I was very excited to see this movie because I'm a big fan of The Endless and Resolution. But I have to say that this film was a let down.
Big old pile of "Meh." Another example of the throw everything against the wall to see what sticks storytelling. Except for a few pretty good moments, this was a pretty forgetable film.
This was much better than I thought it would be! Luciana Paes is amazing!
Much better than I expected it to be!
But for Bruce Campbell, there really was not much to keep me engaged. Caveat emptor.
Yes, it could have been a little shorter, but wow, what a twisted tale of obsession and jealousy. 10 out of 10
If you are here because you are a fan of Takashi Miike, you have chosen well. All others take warning!
I didn't think I was going to like this movie as much as I did. It worked much better as a night in the life of a serial killer then as the social media satire it aspired to be.
A version of The Exorcist steeped in Jewish lore? A young man's search to recover from tragedy and the loss of faith? Surprisingly creepy and moving at the same time.
There were some scary moments, but I'm going to have to say that it was kind of repetitive and a dull.
I thought this was a pretty good thriller! It kept me guessing all the way to the end.
Stay tuned for a very special edition of Bloom house after school specials...
A for effort. Faulters a little in the execution though, B- Maybe?
Less of a ghost story and more of an intense journey into the secret Chambers of the heart. This movie hit all the right notes!
Very interesting and the highly watchable film. At the very least the lovingly photographed Boston from the 1980s is worth the price of admission admission. More of a giallo than a slasher, there was plenty of craziness to keep the viewer interested.
A slightly uneven film that still had some good moments and interesting ideas.
I really wanted to like this more than I did. It was only average.
The beginning and the end were very good, but the middle part was insufferably slow.
Rather like what one would expect from a made-for-tv slasher.
