We all know that Japanse game shows are insane but this?? How has one never heard of this before? I guess the fact that it was this early and basically "before" the true WWW taking of made it only really well know in Japan after all... but wow. What absolute insanity. I think I never watched ANYTHING before that I had to pause for a minute and just... cry. And this wild ride was not even 2/3's done.
A must watch in my opinion and I will go listen to some THE BRILLIANT GREEN now....

Yorgos Lanthimos remaking THAT movie. Wow. Did not expect that but if ANYONE can do it justice then it may be him...

Now THAT episode was an absolute highlight so far haha, love it. <3

I don't think I've seen anything like that since The Raid movies? While it's not all on THAT level, nothing really ever came close. And first time (full movie) director Dev Patel? Mad props yo.

Everyone decries this as an overlong episode of Black Mirror but... is that a bad thing necessarily?
It may not have explored all the nooks and crannies of the issues with what was going on in the movie but I am fine with that, that's what we have Black Mirror for. On the other hand we have another top performance by Gael Garcia Bernal and Renata Reinsve was great too. "That one scene" had me floored tho. I'm a sucker for that and would have had me rate this even higher if they hadn't ruined the ending... they had a perfect opportunity to end on a "fade to black" but they had to come back and make it... worse? I am not yet sure if I like the ending or not. Frustrating.

Yes yes, it's Interstellar but from Netflix...
But honestly I kinda liked it? A retro-futuristic Czech spaceflight with Adam Sandler delivering a decent acting job that got me more intersted in the book it's based on - which apparently has a very different ending too? That might be worth a shot!

This show/season took a while to get into gear but I honestly didnt hate it. Did not go into it expecting anything mindblowing or groundbreaking anyway so it was fine in the end? The last few episodes were pretty good actually and I mostly watched it for Anna Sawai anyway... and for that it was pretty good. ;)
