An episode that when I finished watching it only makes me think "how did they allow it on television?".
It is one of the productions that undoubtedly makes you think that they were well ahead of their time.
Because even by the date I just saw it for the first time (in 2021) I find it shocking. And the way they managed to capture a theme that even today in many regions of the world continues to be seen with so much Taboo, it simply seems exceptional to me.
With this film I just experienced for the first time what it is like to be "on the verge of tears".
I liked how the directors/screenwriters achieved the balance between the drama that the family lives but also maintaining their classic brand of keeping the expressions and the "chalequeo" that are characteristic of Venezuelans.
I liked it. Fresh, touching and inspiring.
