“I died tryna save pigs... ima be sick”
Rory is such a great character lol
No one seemed at all concerned about that poor preacher who was obliterated in part one. These characters are so wrapped up in their own lives and in the lives of the few people that surround them that you never see them care about anyone else in the world. It's kinda weird if you think about it.
Oh please not AGAIN a bloody crossover !! You guys suck! It's the second time you do thaaaaaat pffff
I'm not watching the other episodes. I'm not doing that.
While the crossover itself was done really well, this part was absolutely beautiful. Martin's death was impactful and meaningful. The double-marriage was a lighter note to end on, and just pushed the rollercoaster over the edge one last time.. While I have my qualms with decisions the characters make every now and then, there's no denying that the writers thought this crossover through. I can't imagine the challenges of combining 4 shows like this, and it's so satisfying to see it done so well.
Not emotional at all, dislike Jax
We have abandoned this series, we only see this chapter for the saga of Earth-x
Yes! Sooooo darn good! I hope we get an epic crossover like this one every year! Who needs movies when you got this?
Grey dying was so damn sad, I even teared up. But man! Those fight scenes! Especially the one against Metallo! So cool!
And I loved that Diggle got to be a part of the crossover too! (It wasn't cool of Felicity to hijack Barry and Iris's wedding, but I'm beyond excited that now everyone's married!)
And Leo is staying? Oh, the possibilities!
So that was basically the best TV superhero crossover I've ever seen... which is amazing considering I only watch 1 out of 4 of the shows involved.
That may have to change...
Man, I really hate that they keep doing this. I know I'm in the minority here, but I only watch Legends of Tomorrow, I don't watch any of the other Arrowverse shows. I was clueless as to what's going on, so after the first five minutes I couldn't be bothered with it anymore and just marked it as "watched". I guess there will always be one episode of Legends of Tomorrow that I'll be skipping every season. And, no, I don't want to watch the other three parts as someone suggested me last season, because I realized I'm not familiar with a lot of characters and it still feels weird and confusing.
As long as these crossovers don't affect the rest of the season, I can live with it.
EDIT: I just read the other comments and realized Martin left the show in this episode. Seriously, fuck you, show writers! A crossover isn't a place for something as major as that, it should be some sort of sidestory.
Great crossover!!!! Loved all heroes together...it was so sad to see Martin go, he was kinda of funny...finally they got married...was about time for both couples...
Not perfect - still had the usual cheesy moments - but despite that, this was still a great episode, and contained many moments of cool to satisfy any superhero fan. Seeing them all stood together was near majestic. And of course, there was THAT scene, and I shed a tear - and no, i'm not talking about the ending - though my emotion was MORE believable than that portrayed by Jax.
It couldn't end any different.
Still didn't quite liked the crossover, I think I expected too much from the previous one.
I'm still laughing with the Digle's scene.
the worst part was Jax's farewell... I probably expressed more believable emotions than he on that scene, and I'm dead inside.
So many emotion in one episode right here. I cried so much.
Very nice crossover series. I know overgirl is evil but i kind of felt sad the way she died. Was hoping the good guys would be able to help her and she would have a change of heart figuratively lol. Also Melissa Benoit as overgirl is kind of hot. Guess she can pull of a mean supergirl as well haha.
Except...there aren't 53 supergirls...you fucking idiots.... earth 1 doesnt....kara is imported!!!!! This sums up this so called crossover.
NO! F NO! THAT IS NOT HOW MARTIN IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE SHOW! I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! I knew he was leaving but he's supposed to get a happy retirement!!! There's a deus ex machina coming isn't there???
I would give this a 10, but I almost threw up at the last scene
So my beautiful silver fox is gone :'( :'( :'(
Why did he have to die, I thought that Firestorm would get unstuck and he would go and live with his family
I'm questioning my brain... why I'm still watching it. Well, trust me, it's kinda funny cringe fiesta. All those cryings make it even better. Especially Jax is cute. You may just say a fail attempt at portraying emotions? No. It's a masterpiece, people. Best parody ever. Does he look at that moment like having a sex toy stuck in his butt? Sure.
Maybe I should revisit my policy "do not drop shows ever" in the future.
I smiled, I cheered (albeit silently), I chuckled, I gleed, I sat on the edge of my seat and I almost cried in a full bus... multiple times.
Despite certain parts (Grey) this was simply fantastic.
I sometimes had to search for certain characters in the scenes but all in all it was just great from every "cameo", every wink and nod, every easter egg and every dreadfully sappy love-story shoe-in.
On to the season mid-finales!
I don't know where to start.
Let's make it with the opening credits, the idea of blending them, naming by Crisis On Earth X and making a new one with the mix of their music titles was very clever.
Instead of making the stories of each heroes on the main subject, blending all and putting new heroes was very very clever and made dynamism up and up.
Seeing Mick again was great!
I smiled when Harry said "Up, up and away" to the Supergirl. Nice humor ;)
I love Killer Frost more and more.
I felt like I was watching a movie and definitely better than Justice League. And dude THIS WAS THE BEST CROSSOVER I'VE EVER WATCHED!!! Keep up the good work writers, directors, everybody!
Legends of Tomorrow is a show supposed to be lighthearted and funny and yet, here I am feeling fucking devastated as if my soul just left my body.
Legends of Tomorrow will make you smile, it will make you laugh, it will give you countless wtf moments, it will win your heart and make you have alien goo in your eyes. I knew what was coming but it didn't make it any easier. My stone-cold heart couldn't handle all those emotions.
The funniest show in the Arrowverse and here I am, motionless, trying to assume that what I saw is real while my eyes are sweating. Allergies.
I knew Stein's demise was coming but I wasn't ready. It hit me harder than I expected. I wasn't prepared for that raw emotion. It was really painful to see him go but he went as a true legend. He got an adventure of a lifetime with Jax. He deserved to spend the rest of his life with his family and spoiling his grandson but instead he died as the true hero he is.
"True courage is to die so that others can live" and that's what he did. He died a hero, a legend, and Legends never die. I'm gonna miss him so damn much. It's a shame Victor Garber had to leave the show. He added something no one else had. Broadway is lucky to have him.
Jax and Stein's father-son bonding is lovely. These guys moved me in ways I didn't expect. Victor Garber is a hell of an actor and so is Franz Drameh. That's scene was really impressive, moving and touching. Stein's final speech crushed my soul. The acting was superb.
During the crossover, their storyline hit me pretty hard and every episode that passed it hit me even harder. Those emotional scenes were exceptional. Rest in peace, Professor. You will be missed.
The funeral scene was beautiful. Jax was completely broken. He wished it had been him instead of Stein. I can't help but think that now the original Firestorm is reunited.
His death hit me pretty hard but if that wasn't enough, Jan went to Clarissa and Lily...that was so hard for me to watch.
Aside from the heartbreak, the episode was awesome. That final fight was absolutely perfect. It brought the goffiest smile to my face. I couldn't even blink. I felt like a 5-year-old kid watching my heroes fight. That group slo-mo shot was just badass.
Everything in that fight was fantastic, especially Caitlin going full Frozone. I loved it.
That Barry-Reverse Flash fight was one for the books. Simply amazing. Having them fight at super-speed was another thing I can cross out of my list. I was so damn happy to see it. My life's complete now. Everything was fantastic and then Barry let's him go for some damn reason that skips my understanding. I'm not talking about killing him Reverse Flash style but he could at least have knocked him out and locked him up in the pipeline. He's been working with Nazis for God's sake. That's crossing the line. He doesn't get a pass for that.
"I just love a good pop culture reference in a moment of crisis", lol Cisco. Loved Dinah's reaction to his laugh.
And Snart! I mean, Leo! I missed him so damn much. Everything he did was great. His interactions with Mick were amazing. I loved how offended Mick looked when Snart told him his Nazi doppelganger died saving pigs "I'm gonna be sick!"
"Did you bring beers?"; "Did you hit that?", lol. Whoever writes Mick's one-liners deserves a bigger payroll. He's the absolute best.
"General, would you care to step outside". I lost it. The noise I made wasn't real. Nice reference.
A Nazi Waverider with a Nazi Gideon with the voice of Moira! That was so great. And did Cisco just call Gideon "disembodied computer voice lady"? Lol.
It was great see Sari in costume and finally able to join a fight. Amaya and her make a great team.
The ending scene, well, I have mixed feelings. I really wanted Stein to marry them, but Dig just did the trick. The double wedding was seen a mile ago. Their vows were so good and heartfelt. That scene was so heart-warming and unbelievably beautiful. Great acting there, especially Candice's. However, it annoyed me that they got married without Joe being there. They could've easily brought him.
Everything was flowing, we were about to have our West-Allen perfect wedding but Felicity just stopped Dig mid-sentence when he was about to pronounce them husband and wife. Let me get this straight, I don't hate Olicity, I've never had. I just hate the way it is written. Felicity is a hypocrite most of the time and Oliver ignores her flaws because at the end they're kind of cute. Actually, they're cute as a couple.
If Felicity wants to marry Oliver, go for it, but there're ways and ways of doing it. Rule number one: don't fucking hijack someone's wedding! At least she should've let Dig pronounced them husband and wife and then ask him to marry them too. That's just rude. Writing her like this is what makes people hate her. I'm happy that for once they stopped the will-they-won't-they stuff, though.
How did Dig know everyone's full names? That was unbelievable. Ollie and Felicity I understand, but Barry and Iris too? Lol.
Dig feeling sick and vomiting after being arrived at super speed will never ever get old. It always makes me giggle.
Overall, AMAZING CROSSOVER. Very movie-like and not focused on the show airing. Writers, please, you should always keep this format: 2 day crossover event, 4 hours of pure fun guaranteed. That's how you do it. And I thought last year's crossover couldn't be toped. Little did I know!
It was so much fun to watch. I enjoyed it more than words can describe. Thank you writers for making me feel like a 5-year-old again watching my heroes on screen.
I never thought I would give a 10 to a Legends of Tomorrow's episode, LOL.
I totally called the double wedding thing! And I actually loved it. Everyone's vows were really sweet. And I also think that closing the will-they-won't-they part of Oliver and Felicity's relationship will be good for both the show and the shippers. Less stupid drama.
I had to pause the episode for a few minutes when the Professor died because I was bawling too hard. It was so devastating. And Jax letting him go was so painful... I couldn't stop crying. Rest in peace, Martin. I do hope they will bring Victor Garber back eventually, but this was a beautiful send-off for his character.
I wish Barry had killed Eobard. I'm sick of him. But it was a fun contrast to see Oliver just shoot his doppelganger straight in the chest without hesitation. Get wrecked, Nazi. Same goes for Overgirl. Good fucking riddance.
I was happy to see Ray, Nate, Amaya and Zari. I was afraid they wouldn't use them at all in this crossover, which would've been a waste. Oh, and I'm glad Dig showed up too.
This crossover ended too quickly. It was so much fun! I hope they keep this 4-hour, 2-night format next year. It worked extremely well here.
Holy fuck. This crossover is truly amazing. Good job. (I don't give them a 10/10 because of Grey)
So good, that even the Olicity and Barris stuff doesn't ruin this one. Great action and great emotion. Definitely need more Mick in the next crossover. When he sees another Captain Cold he says "you're not him, you're a gangbanger!" Lmao. Mick to Sarah about Alex "did you hit that ?"
Yeah, if only Justice League was this fun.
Dear Arrowverse writers. Keep this format for crossovers ALWAYS. It worked perfectly. BEST CROSSOVER EVER!
With all the (Democrat), (Liberal) I mean Natzi propaganda and several gay scenes it ends just as I hoped, with two Very heterosexual weddings. All is well that ends well.
Wonder how they will bring back the doc if they do. I’m assuming they needed to kill him off to make budget room for other characters though.
"General, would you care to step outside". Christopher Reeve is smiling down on Supergirl right now.
