When Grandpa goes on the search, he gets a bit obsessive, which disturbs Ben and Gwen. Will he prevent the weapon from getting into the wrong hands and realize what is truly important?
The Good: As good as this series usually is, this was even better; it ramped up the action quotient and the intensity.

Ben is bound and determined to defeat this new bad guy and save his family members and the campers...but, when they capture him, too, it seems that all hope is lost.
The Good: I think I've run out of laudatory resources to describe this show; it's just fun, fun, and more fun.
The Bad: Nothing, really.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: None.
Language: Name-calling, at worst.
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout.
Drugs: The villain tries to use spores.

While fighting the bad guys, Ben meets the Galactic Enforcers, a group of interplanetary superheroes whom Ben is glad to have at his side. When the evil aliens try and mix the substance on Earth, it's up to Ben and his new-found friends to stop them once and for all.
The Good: This is pretty much Ben 10 as usual: fantasy battles, extraterrestrial life, good versus evil, etc., none of which is a bad thing.
The Bad: The voice on one of the new heroes was grating, and sounded more like an announcer.
Content Concerns:
Sex: A female alien flirts with Ben, not knowing he is underaged.
Nudity: Cleavage.
Language: Name-calling.
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scary aliens.

Synopsis: While working on math homework, Joe discovers an encyclopedia of world records, and believes he can set the record for the most consecutive free throws in five minutes...only for his rival, Damont, to try and show him up! This reminds Wishbone of the classic story Don Quixote de la Mancha, where he imagines himself as squire to the crazy title character.
The Good: Blending classic literature and a Disney-Channel-esque story, this was a fun episode.
The Bad: Nothing, really.
Content Concerns:
Sex: Don Quixote becomes infatuated with a woman, but it's kept innocent.
Nudity: Cleavage.
Language: Name-calling, at worst.
Violence: An incident with a windmill that leads to a gash on the head; two jousting matches seen from a distance, with non-graphic injuries.
Drugs: Don Quixote is seen at a pub-like restaurant.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Emotional intensity; Don Quixote is rather insane.
Synopsis: What do you see when you look at the night sky? In his trademark style, Bill Nye talks about everything from light years to constellations to radio telescopes. This episode is literally "far out"!
The Good: Bill Nye is always educational and entertaining, and this episode was fun and informative. Though I've always been a fan of astronomy, I even learned a thing or two from this!
The Bad: The start was a bit repetitive; I felt like I was watching Sesame Street instead. After that, it got better.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: None.
Language: Nothing worse than "for cryin' out loud".
Violence: Mild comedic pratfalls.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Bill gets a bit upset in one scene.
Other: Talk about the Big Bang.
Synopsis: The other Rangers are sent to transport a special tool back to the base...but, Dana, the Pink Ranger, is assigned the task of picking up an old friend of her father the Chief. She is rather upset that her father doesn't trust her, and the other Rangers are struggling without her. Will she be able to save the day?
The Good: This is typical Power Rangers: good guys vs. bad guys, fantasy battles, cute moments, etc., all of which are a good thing.
The Bad: Nothing, really.

Worse yet, his friend is nowhere to be found, and all of the mutant denizens in the town seem to be in hiding. What's going on? Where is Dr. Prescott? It's up to Cyclops to figure out this mystery.
The Good: This episode has pretty much all of the hallmarks of this series, and is rather fun. It had a plot that kept me guessing.
The Bad: As I said in an earlier review, when a television series starts to lose focus, it's usually a sign of the end. With an entire DVD volume and then some to go, I wonder if the later episodes will hold up.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: Shirtless guy.
Language: Name-calling.
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scary villains; emotional intensity; a scene of bullying.

Ben knows about what happened to him in the original timeline, and how his alien powers led to him becoming a hero...but, can he get Gwen to do the same thing?
The Good: it's a great "What if...?" scenario that feels like well-written fan fiction. The production values are amazing, as usual.
The Bad: It does nothing to advance the storyline; it almost feels like filler.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.

Language: Name-calling.
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout.

Worse yet, the Zords were too heavily damaged in the Rangers' last battle to be used again so soon! Will the Rangers emerge victorious?
The Good: Sure, it can be cheesy at times, but this franchise always provides escapist fun, and that's just what this episode does. I'm curious as to where the story goes from here!
The Bad: Nothing, really.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: Villainess in bare-midriff outfit in opening credits.
Language: Name-calling.

Meanwhile, PJ's slob of a friend, Gravy, is staying with the Duncans, and is driving Amy bonkers, and Gabe and a friend are using Charlie to film their own movie.
The Good: I've seen this episode previously, but, it was still entertaining the second time around. This series is a favorite of mine, and episodes like this are why.
The Bad: Nothing, really.
Content Concerns:
Sex: A girl dresses up in a bug costume and "lays" eggs; talk of a mother being "hot".
Nudity: Guys walk around without their pants, but nothing critical is seen.

Will Miley be able to help her best friend see the truth?
Featuring an appearance by Larry David.
The Good: Like usual for Disney sitcoms, this one was cute and funny. Having two special guest stars was an awesome bonus. All in all, this one was great.

Content Concerns:
Sex: Kissing; a woman mistakes a teenage boy for Natalie Portman.
Nudity: None.
Language: Name-calling, at worst.
Violence: Comedic pratfalls.

Synopsis: Twelve-year-old Alexander Cooper (Ed Oxenbould) has had the worst day ever...but his entire family seems to have had the best day ever! Early the next morning, Alexander makes a birthday wish that his family knows what it's like to have a day like he did...and they do! His sister, who was slated to play Peter Pan in her school play, wakes up with a bad cold; his mom finds out that a misprint in a children's book led to a very embarrassing moment for Dick Van Dyke; and his brother is in trouble with his girlfriend on the day of the prom! Will they ever recover from this day?
Also starring Bella Thorne (Shake It Up).
The Good: I grew up on the original Judith Viorst book, so, I was interested to see how this big-screen treatment was. Of course it expands on the rather short children's story, but it does so very well. The moral point it makes--that we all have bad days--is exactly the same as the book. There was plenty of comedy, too. It was fun seeing Disney Channel star Bella Thorne in a minor role, and Kerris Dorsey was cute as Alexander's sister as well.
The Bad: Despite being a Disney movie, this isn't as clean as you'd expect from this company. It may be rated "PG," but it isn't for young children; see below for why.
Content Concerns:
Sex: Talk of making out in the back of a car; a mom sees her son naked, and later comments that she has seen all the private male anatomy in the family; at a children's birthday party, some performers start to strip, until a parent says to "keep it PG"; a reference to breasts; talk of pictures being "sexist".
Nudity: Off-the-shoulder dresses; immodestly dressed women's pictures are seen with a boy's superimposed on them.
Language: Other than three misuses of God's name and one of the acronym "OMG", language is limited to "sucks" and name-calling.
Violence: Plenty of comedic pratfalls: a guy's arms get lit on fire, a driver's test leads to a big wreck, etc. All of it is non-graphic and played for laughs.
Drugs: A girl goes psycho due to overdosing on cough syrup.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Emotional intensity throughout.
Other: Right much bathroom humor.
Conclusion: A Disney movie that isn't for kids? Sounds crazy, but that's what this is. While I can't recommend this to the elementary school crowd, older fans of the House of Mouse will likely enjoy it. Though this may seem crude by Disney standards, it's nothing compared to the "PG-13" comedies that get released all the time.
Synopsis: Raven isn't the only psychic in town anymore! When a mysterious comet flies over San Francisco, it endows Eddie with the ability to have visions of the future...and he can make them come at will! Raven tells him to keep it a secret, but, Eddie tells everyone about it and ends up with a new group of friends! When his newfound gift starts to fade away, will Eddie discover who his true friends are? Meanwhile, it's Seventies Night at the Chill Grill!
The Good: I've seen this episode I don't know how many times, but it's a blast! Funny, cute, and with a great moral, it also stars Haylie Duff, sister of infamous Disney star Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire). I was reminded throughout why I love this show. It even has a hilarious moment of self-parody; the kind I haven't seen anywhere else since the "Meet the Seavers" episode of Growing Pains.
The Bad: Absolutely nothing about which to complain.
Content Concerns:
Sex: Kissing.
Nudity: Woman in bare-midriff outfit; slight cleavage.
Language: Name-calling.
Violence: An action scene in a movie; a guy grabs another guy to attack him, but the victim is rescued non-violently.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: The grabbing scene.
Other: Gambling is present, though vilified.
Synopsis: To teach them a lesson about the true meaning of Christmas, Rudy makes Jack, Jerry, and Milton volunteer at a holiday drive for underprivileged kids. On Christmas Eve, they discover some of the toys from the drive planted in a locker at the dojo. The guys know they're innocent...but can they prove it and find out who is responsible? Meanwhile, Kim and Eddie get into a window display competition that soon gets way out of hand.
The Good: I love a good holiday episode, and this is definitely one. The usual humor and action are present, but with a Yuletide twist! I need to watch this show more often in 2017.
The Bad: Nothing to complain about, really.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: Girl in short skirt.
Language: Name-calling.
Violence: A snowball fight; a brawl between some kids and some criminals, which is not bloody or graphic.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: None.
Other: A bit of spoken toilet humor; a (fake) Santa Claus and his (fake) elves end up being the culprits.
I liked the action sequences and the cleverness Tommy showed in defeating the villain. However, I did not care for the new Alpha nor Zordon's replacement.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None.
Nudity: A girl's midriff is seen.
Language: Name-calling.
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout; a bit of slapstick, too.
Drugs: None.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scary monsters; evil versions of the Rangers.
Other: A character--not a Ranger--burps.
Despite being an avid entertainment consumer, I had never heard of Kelli Williams before watching this holiday telefilm. However, she made for an attractive and likable leading lady. The rest of the cast did well, too; one character was utterly despicable, but he was intended to be. While Yuletide made-for-television movies are available by the dozens these days, I found this one to be enjoyable and captivating. Sure, it's a bit predictable, but plenty of movies are. The one issue I had was that it wasn't as clean as I've come to expect from Hallmark, though it doesn't veer beyond "PG" territory.
Content Concerns:
Sex: Kissing throughout; a man and woman snuggle on the couch and fall asleep together...with their clothes on.
Nudity: Women are seen throughout in off-the-shoulder and/or low-cut dresses.
Language: About four misuses of God's name, and one h-word.
Violence: A couple of mild, brief fisticuffs; a football game gets rough; nobody is seriously hurt or killed, though.
Drugs: Champagne and alcoholic beverages are consumed throughout.
Frightening/Intense Scenes: A woman freaks out when her dress is ruined; a guy freaks out over an injustice; kids cry over a situation, but it is soon rectified.
Other: Santa is depicted throughout as a real person, and even the adults believe in him.
A great episode; can't wait for the conclusion!
I live for shows like this! Action, comedy, heroism, a convoluted plot...what's not to like?
This is a bit harder-edged than I'm used to from this franchise...but I enjoyed it! It's funny that this one involved heroes traveling in time back to 2001; that was a time when we really needed heroes, as anyone who lived through 9/11 knows all too well.
Content Concerns:
Sex: None. 5/5
Nudity: Woman in bare-midriff outfit. 4/5
Language: Name-calling. 4/5
Violence: Fantasy action violence throughout; a flashback shows a hero being killed. 3/5
Drugs: None. 5/5
Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scary monsters; emotional intensity in the flashback. 3/5
Other: A quest for vengeance. 4/5
Score: 4.5/5
Lately, the female contestants haven't been doing very well. The Teen Tournament final was all guys; in this episode, the lone female contestant started Final Jeopardy with the lowest total, and ended it with a score of zero. Even the last champion to win multiple episodes--Seth Wilson--was a guy. Where are all the smart ladies? I know they're out there somewhere!
This episode made me feel young, because I knew more of the answers than usual. Yay, me!
These kids were definitely smart, but them not knowing who André the seal was made me feel old.
Cute and funny...with some action, too! This was a fun one.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scenes of peril. 3/5
