This was a LOT better than I expected it to be. I'll definitely keep tuning in.
This show is kind of a cross between "Rookie Blue" (following a set a new recruits) and "How to Get Away With Murder" (trying to figure out who committed a crime through flashbacks).
If you hate "The Bachelor" but you secretly want to know what goes on behind the scenes of "The Bachelor", then this is the show for you!
When it wasn't focusing on Fish Mooney, Gotham's first season was pretty great. The Fish Mooney storyline, in my opinion, wasn't necessary to the plot. They could have easily found ways to make the show work without her. It was, however, wonderful seeing the characters when they were young and getting to witness the reasons (even if they aren't the comic book reasons) why they became the characters we know and sometimes love or even hate from the movies and comic books.
Since certain characters don't survive this season's finale, I think Season 2 will be much more enjoyable. In Season 2, we will watch the villains rise and finally become the characters we've always known in the Gotham universe.
This show had one of the best soundtracks.
If Stephen King and Steven Spielberg had a baby, this is EXACTLY what it would look it.
This show tries way too hard to be funny. The laugh track is almost as annoying as the tired dialogue. We get it writers, millennials are supposedly out of touch with people 20 years older than them. Shocker! This is what happens with every generation.
At this point, I'm only "watching" because I've finished an episode of TBBT and I'm waiting on "Mom" to air. My theory is the only reason why CBS picked this show up for a full season is because they have no mid-season replacements better than this which is quite frankly the saddest news of all.
♪ It's Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving for everybody! Except for Europeans! ♪
Officially canceled by CBS on February 8th 2016. I still have no idea how it got picked up in the first place. I made it through all five episodes that aired and still didn't know what it was supposed to be about.
"Mom's bringing the scary and Dad's bringing the hairy."
"Will you shut up, Ted?"
"My heart just pooped it's pants."
Officially the first US cancellation of the 2015-16 TV season.
"Sue's got her period and there's a bear outside!"
Peggy roller skating while Roger plays the organ in an empty office has got to be one of the best visuals this show has ever done. Kudos!
If this show gets cancelled after THAT cliffhanger, NBC will be dead to me.
Mad Men? More like Mustache Men.
I feel as though I need to buy the world a Coke now.
Well it took almost the ENTIRE series but I finally care about Betty now. Knock 'em dead, Birdie, indeed.
The previous episode was more of a season finale than this one was. This episode just felt tacked on and so out of place. It's the first time during the entire series that I honestly didn't care about what happened during the majority of it, with the sole exception being the Noah/Whitney scenes.
i won't deny that I have huge issues with the ending of this amazing series but when Vincent comes out of the jungle to lie down next to Jack as he dies making this show come full circle I cry like like a newborn Aaron for about an hour afterward.
The extreme change in Mickey's voice is absolutely jarring.
Brian: "I'm warning you, if you kill me, the internet is going to freak out."
What the hell kind of ending was that?
OMG! I Shazamed the song at the same time Peter did.
Note of advice: Please do not eat before or during this episode, if you don't want to see what you ate again afterwards.
How very McNulty of Noah to drink Jameson.
+1 for Joan Collins' entrance and for her saying "F.M.L".
That episode where someone murders O.J. because he was in love with his wife.
The last regular appearance of Valerie Harper as Rhoda Morgenstern.
