In a show with so many characters, one of the most emotional deaths was the guy with one word of dialogue. That's why Game of Thrones is so great.
The first 10 minutes was spectacular! No dialogue, just pure visual storytelling at it's finest. Also, Baby Yoda is too freaking cute.
i just watched this movie for the second time and it's still fantastic
What a poor movie, i really don't understand how many people like this movie...
If you want to really enjoy Drive, I'd suggest you do the following. Get a big screen (like, 32"+). Get a 5.1 surround system and something that has a real bass kick for the engines. Turn all the lights off; turn the volume way up. Watch the blu ray.
If you watch it like that and get completely absorbed in it, I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate this film for the gripping cinematic experience it is.
WOW! This took me by surprise, cant wait to see what else this show has to offer.
All i can say is , Long Live The Legend ! Great Movie , Great Acting , most of all Great Cast to begin with.
I have to agree with MajorMercyFLush and stryjewski. This movie is a snorefest. The amount of acclaim it recievs saddens me when shallow drivel like this is going to be held as a blueprint of successful filmaking.
It's nothing more than a set of video game like sequences sans the interactivity that makes video games appealing. So you can't interact with it, and the plot is for the lowest common denominator. Where does that leave it in my books? In the trash.
Wow. with this flick Pixar underlines its leading position in animation movies.
Great movie for the whole Family.
Real existing story with nice music and a lot of fun.
Enjoy it! Must see in Full HD and minumum 5.1
Take Alien. A perfect movie. Then ruin it with a bunch of action bullshit. You get Aliens.
saw it earlier tonight in the cinema. what a great movie, awesome sound effects and great pictures. that is what cinema means. movie of the year. 'nuff said... WATCH IT!!!
One of my all time favorites. Very good story. Superb acting.
Excellent movie ! Brings back good.. and bad memories from the 80s!
Those 2 hours went by extremely fast and the sound was incredible!
Oh hello there Mr. Shakycam - I hate you.
Watchable one. But if I could go back in time and tell myself not to watch, I would.
20 years later and Gillian Anderson is still responsible for giving boys everywhere happy dreams.
Well there is no wonder Sony staged a false flag cyber attach to bring attention to this movie or people wouldn't even both with it - the movie is terrible. Poor acting and script. The best part of the movie is the closing animated cartoonish titles. Movie is a waste of time. And Sony will only be able to use this marketing ploy once and they have blown it on a crap movie, people will be more aware next time they try a stunt like this... The boy that cried wolf anyone?
amazing movie
Awe inspiring film. It makes me dislike big society and want to do the same.
Wtf is this crap ? Bad script, bad characters, bad actors and too long... So disappointing from Michael Mann...
I was impressed for a 3rd installment it was really good & the 3D was awesome!!
Like The Big Lebowski and Office Space this has become a cult movie. The idea that one man and a prostitute wake up 500 years in the future surrounded by morons and idiots while commercialization of everything has spiraled out of control is funny. The amount of theaters this movie was released to was incredibly low in comparison to budget this movie had. If the movie was boring and uninteresting i would have understand, but this movie is funny. From what i understand the production company Twentieth Century Fox didn't want a lawsuit from any of the companies depicted in the movie witch they probably would have gotten if this movie actually became a hit in theaters.
I was surprised to see 3 actors from The Walking Dead in it.
Not the best/original movie but it's a good looking scifi
I had high hopes for this one, but sadly it disapointed. It started out well but after a little while everything slowed down...considerably. Didn't work for me...
Hanna is a taut action thriller directed by Joe Wright whose previous films The Soloist (Robert Downey Jr/Jamie Foxx), Pride & Predjudice and the Oscar nominated Atonement (both with Keira Knightley) are all well regarded.
Saoirse Ronan, who had worked with Wright on Atonement, gives a focused and convincing performance as Hanna, with solid turns from Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett rounding out the billing.
Shot in Morocco, Finland and Germany the cinematography is simply gorgeous. Lensed by German born Alwin H. Kuchler (Sunshine, Code 46) his eye for the natural grittiness of a locale brings depth to every frame. One location I was very pleased to see was the Trudelturm Wind Tunnel facility in Berlin which doubled as Blanchetts base. It's a wholy unique locale and also featured in 2005's underrated Aeon Flux.
The music, scored by The Chemical Brothers, coupled with amazing sound design create an aural feast on which to nom nom nom.
Hanna is highly recommended. Totally Ninja!
Best trilogy ever made, return of the king best movie ever made!
How often did i watch this Movie ?! 3 Times ? 10 Times?! Anyway, This Movie is one of my Top 10 of all Time Movies.
If one Movie deserve a 10 of 10 (besides Back to the Future, Se7en, The Shawshank Redemption, Memeto and the Godfather), it's this one !
One of those films that I wanted to see because of it's 'classic' status. The special effects and action scenes didn't date very well, the acting is not great, and the story is filled with plotholes. But it still managed to capture my attention because of the original way it delivered its social criticism.
Watching those apes mistreat us humans, you can't help but think how stupid and unfair those damn dirty apes are. I really couldn't stand them. Until somewhere in the film you suddenly realize that those apes represent the way humans act nowadays, and that the way humans are treated in the movie is how we (used to) treat minority groups; slaves, heretics, women, animals etc. Ouch.. Suddenly the ape society is a mirror of human society, showing all it's errors. At times the morals are just too much, but I think it's a great social critique in a sci-fi setting.
