Alrighty. Surprisingly, this episode was better than the last few and actually quite enjoyable, especially if you leave out all the messy and confusing moments. So here it goes, my confusing review in honour to tonight's episode. Let's go to it then, shall we?
First of all, Alex and Owen have very good chemistry, much more than her and Ryan. And Harry and Sebastian scenes were very good. I actually loved that we finally know what happened to Elliot, although I'm not sure why Harry wanted the tapes, to take down Laurence Bishop, perhaps? It really shocked me when Sebastian tried to strangle Harry. Well done Quantico! I knew he tried to kill him, but somehow I didn't expect it to be like that. The case at the farm was OK, I guess. The only question is, what the hell are the other nameless recruits doing? Are they still waiting for instructions in Germany?
I'm still confused as far as who's telling the truth and who's lying. I don't trust Lydia. I don't think she's good. She made Ryan believe she was, but I don't trust her.
I suspected Carly was up to no good so I wasn't shocked when I saw her pointing the gun at Harry. So according to her, and being a member of the AIC, the AIC was going to do good at the G20. Therefore, it was the Citizens Liberation Front the one who took the hostages and not the AIC. So the AIC isn't responsible for anyone who died, is it?
What I don't really understand is Alex behaviour. I mean, Alex knew that Lydia was AIC, so why trust her? and if she knew that the AIC was real and knew its members, why did she trust Dayana and León in the present day storyline? It's either lazy writing or Alex is a dumbass. All these flashbacks show something that makes Alex' actions stupid. If you know who the members of the AIC are and you know they're up to something, you don't trust them, plain and simple.
Once again, I find myself wondering whos on first what's on second but for once, the confusion this episode was worth watching.
