I think the wolfman make up was more realistic in the old black and white Universal horror movies.

Yeah, the episode overall was pretty good, but the barghest costuming and movements were so cheaply executed as to be a slightly painful sore thumb sticking out of an otherwise good episode.

Elements like that make me wonder if the producers/directors realized or care about the details of what they're creating -- but Sleepy Hollow usually does a pretty good job with details like that, so what happened this time?

Oh, well. I will say I'm liking the kid more and more, and hope that the writing has some smart plans for how her future unfolds.
