Probably the cheesiest of the Big 4 Marvel TV shows (sorry, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., gave up on you:). The story is very simple which I didn't actually mind, acting I found good about 50 % of the time, action about the same (it has nothing on Daredevil), though it certainly has its moments (like escaping from the Hand's compound - that was pretty cool). No complaints about the atmosphere, it's actually one of the best things about it. The aforementioned cheesiness you can either get on board with or suffer through, so good luck with that :). Overall very enjoyable to me and more fun than Luke Cage.
